Will it be Chris Isaak or Harry Connick Jr. on American Idol next season? Could it be Isaak and Connick? Or how about this: Isaak, Connick and Jessica Simpson?
These all could be very real scenarios as rumors about a total show makeover grow.

Glee Cast Talks Emmy Nods and Season Premiere
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Music, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, Video,
Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jesslyn Gilsig and Cory Monteith were just a few of the Glee cast members who walked the red carpet this week for a TVAcademy event.
Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) and Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury) discussed the frocks they’ll wear for the upcoming Emmy awards (Glee scored a jaw-dropping 19 nominations). Michele, who is up for a Best Actress statue, is going for a look that’s “different” from her previous Golden Globes attire. Mays joked that she might look for her red carpet gown at Ross Dress for Less. She says her “gorgeous” husband is “the perfect accessory.”
Other cast members also discussed their dates. Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel) is bringing his parents, an act Cory Monteith might mimick. He initially said he will probably take his mom, then grinned and added, “Maybe I’ll bring a cute girl to the Emmys.” Ask Lea!

MasterChef Review: Gordon Ramsay Displays a Softer Side
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Food & Home, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, Gossip,

FOX premiered its third show featuring Gordon Ramsay, MasterChef, Tuesday night. The series had a strong lead-in: Ramsay’s first FOX show, Hell’s Kitchen. He’s the chef known for his tough exterior and passionate, some might say vulgar, insults. Ramsay routinely screams in the faces of the chefs under his tutelage on Hell’s Kitchen - so fans were no doubt expecting to see a tough, fiery chef during the MasterChef premiere.
What they got was a gentler, kinder Gordon Ramsay. He slipped into the role of motivator for MasterChef, sitting at the head of a panel of three judges (the other two are tough-as-nails restaurateur Joe Bastianich and four-star chef Graham Elliot). Talented home cooks came before the panel to present their dishes. Some dishes were met with disdain, but Ramsay didn’t scream “donkey” at a single contestant. He dispensed hugs, smiles and encouragement with ease - far removed from the furious chef mien he wears for Hell’s Kitchen, which aired the same night.

Glee: iCarly Actor Joins Cast in Recurring Role
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Comedy, Music, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, Rumors,
Chord Overstreet, whom fans probably won’t recognize from his brief appearance on iCarly, has officially joined the cast of Glee in a recurring role. Chord appeared on a single episode of iCarly in 2009, playing a character named simply “Eric.” He also played “teenage boy” in the 2009 movie The Hole.
In other words: Overstreet is a relative unknown who will bring some fresh blood to Glee, which is packing in newcomers and guest stars for it’s highly-touted second season (scheduled to begin airing on September 21). Overstreet plays Sam, a character whom Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) befriends and mentors. Sam takes Finn’s direction so well, he soon becomes serious competition for the singer. The role of Sam will appear in more than one episode, but producers aren’t providing more details about his longevity with the New Directions glee club.

American Idol Contestant Sues Show for $300 Million
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip, Rumors, Video,
Rejected American Idol contestant Ian Benardo doesn’t have a prayer of getting $300 million from the show, though he recently filed a lawsuit asking for this staggering sum. We’re pretty sure Benardo has filed suit more for publicity than for money…so we’re going to give it to him.
If you don’t know who Ian Benardo is, it’s probably because you didn’t watch the American Idol finale spectacular which aired in May. Benardo turned an otherwise average stage show into a circus when he ripped the microphone out of the hands of comedian Dane Cook and proceeded to scream out his agenda to the masses.
