After a week break, America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 10 returned to business as usual with the remaining seven contestants – seven less than the show started with.
Having reached the halfway point, it was time for the girls to prove they were more than just pretty faces. MONDAY (4/14)
- Bones (FOX, 8pm): New episode. “When a motorcycle racer’s remains are discovered in a national park, Brennan and Booth hunt for his killer.” I hear this is a great show. I just wish Angel wasn’t flirting with a new woman.
- One Tree Hill (CW, 9pm): New episode. “Lucas tries to deal with being left at the altar.” He’ll find comfort in the arms of a young blonde thing later.
- Rules of Engagement (CBS, 9:30pm): New episode. “Adam and Jennifer go on a vacation with Jeff and Audrey, but first they have to endure a time share sales pitch.” What do I get if I endure the show?
- Medium (NBC, 10pm): “Kelly Preston guest stars as venture capitalist Meghan Doyle, who strikes up a professional and personal connection with Joe.” Anjelica Huston, Rosanna Arquette and now Kelly Preston. Is this the Lifetime channel?

Wednesday Ratings: CBS Has a Nice Comeback

Although FOX was once again a winner on Wednesday night, the returns of two CBS dramas helped put a small dent in their opponent’s numbers.
8pm
- The Moment of Truth (4.1/12 in 18-49) ended its current season with 10 million.
- Deal or No Deal (2.0/6) was a close second with 9.3 million.
- Big Brother (6 million, 2.2/7) did the same as last week.
- Wife Swap (5.7 million, 2.0/6) slumped by 600,000.
- America’s Next Top Model (4.1 million, 1.9/6) was up approximately 17%.

With only eight competitors left on America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 10, it was now time for the girls to put up or shut up. If they were going to win this thing, it was important for them to show how much they had learned over the past few weeks. They could no longer ride on the same old schtick; they had to demonstrate that they could take criticism and finesse their modeling skills.

Wednesday Ratings: Repeats Can’t Topple American Idol

Last night, the networks basically handed over their ratings to FOX. Although American Idol is normally a sure thing, the show lucked out with a plate of reruns.
8pm
- The Moment of Truth (10 million, 3.9/11 in 18-49) buzzed 700,000 away.
- Law & Order: Criminal Intent* (6.7 million, 1.5/4) rose 1.1 million from last week.
- Wife Swap (6.3 million, 2.3/7) got a nice 600,000 boost.
- Big Brother (6 million, 2.1/6) evicted 700,000.
- About 3.5 million saw Aimee sent home on America’s Next Top Model (1.7/5).

- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30): The overly-promoted Britney Spears cameo finally airs tonight. Let’s just be happy the show is only 30-minutes long.
- Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (CW, 9pm): Nicole Scherzinger gives the girls tips on vocal expression. Sadly, advice on releasing solo albums is not something she can dish out.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): New episode. “A bride is murdered at her wedding. The investigation takes the CSIs to a strip club where the bachelor party took place.” Strip club? This would be the perfect time for another Elizabeth Berkley appearance.
- The Hills (MTV, 10pm): Season premiere. I wonder if LC wore any of her own designs in Paris. Doubt it.

- Dancing with the Stars (ABC, 8pm): Tonight’s Season 6 premiere focuses only on the men. I think it’s safe to say Julianne Hough won’t be making it a three-peat with Adam Carolla.
- The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8pm): New episode. “Sheldon and Leonard are asked to a physics conference to present their work together.” I’ve always wondered - if this show were to air on any other day, would it be half as successful?
- How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8:30): New episode. “Ted decides to live life like Barney on St. Patrick’s Day.” You don’t want to know what they use as their lucky charms.
- Two and a Half Men (CBS, 9pm): New episode. “Charlie teaches Alan how to break up with a woman.” I hear hiring prostitutes can make a woman leave you.
- The Bachelor (ABC, 9:30): Season 12 premiere. “Bachelor Matt Grant, a 27-year-old British financier, meets his 25 would-be soul mates.” Apparently in America, you can finally afford to woo twice as many women as you can in the UK.

We had the girl who thinks she’s so smart but makes idiotic mistakes; the girl who came back from the dead and is now cockier than ever; the free-spirited girl who makes the driven ones feel uncomfortable; and the girl full of potential who doesn’t know how to model.
