Celebrities Continue to Stick it Out in Costa Rica

It is now the third week of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here, and rain in the jungle is affecting production. But NBC isn’t about to let a little thing like rain affect the show. The hosts have been moved but the cameras keep on rolling.
“I’m shocked,” Stephen Baldwin said of his brother, Daniel, and his surprising elimination from the show. “I’m going to miss him,” the younger bro admitted.
“I couldn’t be happy that Daniel Baldwin is gone, because he was a big bully!” Janice Dickinson cried to the camera.
“It was really tacky and rude,” Torrie Wilson observed of Dickinson’s behavior when the elimination announcement was made.
John Salley started to have a rough time in the camp after the departure of Daniel. Finally, he and Janice were able to make up and put some of their conflicts away.

Janice Dickinson Rushed to Costa Rican Medical Facility
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip, Rumors, Spoilers, Video,
It was only last week that Heidi Pratt, with husband Spencer at her side, was rushed from the filming of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here to a medical facility to be treated for dehydration. Now, Vote For the Worst is reporting that Janice Dickinson has been sent for treatment as well.
An unnamed source reported to Zap2it that Dickinson was taken from the set in an ambulance and is suffering from an unknown illness.
Cameras have been sticking with the model throughout, so audiences will soon know the story behind these rumors. I’m thinking maybe it was the stolen granola bar that made Dickinson sick.

Speidi’s Back in LA
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Daytime, Reality, Talk Shows, NBC, Gossip, Video,
TMZ captured video of Heidi and Spencer Pratt arriving in LA after their stint in Costa Rica. The couple were part of the cast of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, a show they left several times before they finally chose to leave for good.
Now that they’re back to their lavish lifestyles, Speidi is singing a different tune. They no longer seem angry at NBC and they are denying that they ever cried “torture” against the network in the first place. “I love NBC. I was never suing NBC,” Spencer told that paps as he made his way through the airport. “I guess since you sign a waiver…it’s not called torture.” Or some smart lawyer patiently explained to the newlyweds that they absolutely don’t have a case against the show.
The pair further soaked up the spotlight by appearing on Today, where they were questioned by Al Roker. He valiantly tried to get real answers out of the couple before finally putting an end to the entire Q and A (view the video above).

I’m a Celebrity: Get Janice Out of Here!
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip, Video,
The last episode of the week for I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here is reserved for eliminations. On Thursday, one competitor will be ousted - by virtue of your votes - from the wilds of Costa Rica.
Hosts Myleene Klass and Damien Fahey joking referred to Granolagate, which happened on Wednesday. Patti Blagojevich and Torrie Wilson competed to win a luxury reward. Among their prize items were four granola bars - one of which was taken and eaten by one Janice Dickinson. The supermodel not only lied about the food to the other campers but to us - even saying to the camera during her confessional that she didn’t know what happened to the bar.

I’m A Celebrity…And A Thief, Too
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip, Video,
Wednesday’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here opened with the continuation of the Hang Tough challenge, which found some of the celebs (Janice Dickinson didn’t participate) hanging from iron bars over a fetid pool of stagnant water.
Hey, that’s what it takes to win immunity in Costa Rica. Each participant was still hanging when the episode picked up where it left off Monday night. Patti Blagojevich was the first too fall, followed by Daniel Baldwin. Less than three minutes had passed, and two were already done for.

Futurama No Longer a Cartoon of the Past

Following in Family Guy’s footsteps, Comedy Central will reprise a FOX cartoon that was canceled - six years ago!
Futurama, created by Matt Groening and dropped off the FOX prime time schedule in 2003 after four seasons, will have another day in the sun…er, space. The comedy, set in 2999, has sparked high DVD sales and plenty of syndication attention.
Enough, apparently, to warrant another run. The cable network has ordered twenty-six new episodes of the animated comedy, which are expected to air in 2010.
It’s not the first time FOX has made a mistake. Family Guy was can canceled by the network, but returned after three years of great success on the Cartoon Network.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar - well-known to many as Zack Morris from Saved By the Bell - recently spoke about a possible reunion for the well-loved series. While chatting it up with Jimmy Fallon on late night TV, Gosselaar said he could be joining Mr. Belding, Kelly Kapowski, Jessie Spano, A.C. Slater and Lisa Turtle for a Bell reunion.
Respectively, their real names are Dennis Haskins, Tiffani Thiessen (billed on the show as Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez and Lark Voorhies. The only one missing from the main cast is “Screech” Powers, played by Dustin Diamond.

I’m Not A Celebrity, But Get Me Out of Here Anyway
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip, Video,
Week two of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here opened with a two-hour episode that featured more drama, more challenges and more spotlight-stealing shenanigans.
Speaking of stealing the spotlight, Heidi and Spencer Pratt were the first topic of discussion. Cameras recorded the action as they were locked into an isolation chamber for the night. This was the only way the couple could prove themselves, but it still wouldn’t guarantee their acceptance by the other campers - for all had to agree it was okay for them to return. Heidi prayed for strength many times during their long night.
“They’re so hated. People can’t stand them - that’s why I love them so much,” Janice Dickinson told the camera.

As they say in the entertainment industry, “The show must go on.” And that’s exactly what happened last night.
During the opening number at the Tonys, Bret Michaels - along with the other Poison members and the Rock of Ages cast - got the audience warmed up with a performance of “Nothin’ But a Good Time.” It’s what happened after the song that made the most impact.

How Does NBC Feels About Speidi’s Celebrity Antics?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Prime Time, Reality, NBC, Gossip, Rumors, Video,
When Spencer Pratt compared his and wife Heidi’s fame to that of Brad and Angelina, it was only one more in a long line of similar egotistical comments the MTV reality star has made regarding his own celebrity status. Someone please explain to Pratt that a show which averaged 3 million viewers in its fifth season (that would be The Hills, Pratt’s big claim to fame) doesn’t compare to box office megahits like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (which has earned more than $329 million internationally). See how Pratt stacks up against Angelina on the Forbes fortune list here.
He calls himself a super-celebrity and says he’s far too famous to hang out with the likes of Lou Diamond Phillips, Sanjaya Malakar and Stephen Baldwin, among others. But it’s true that Heidi Montag and hubby Spencer Pratt have garnered major press for the newest show to feature the pair - mostly, because we’re amazed any two people could be so fanatically in love with themselves.
The bratty Pratts have already left I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here on three separate occasions (that we know about), subsequently returning each time. It’s up in the air whether or not they’ll be welcomed back with open arms after they rested and refreshed themselves away from the show - the next chapter in their story won’t be revealed until the show airs Monday.
