VIDEO: Bret Michaels Fractures Nose After Tony Awards Accident
As they say in the entertainment industry, “The show must go on.” And that’s exactly what happened last night.
During the opening number at the Tonys, Bret Michaels - along with the other Poison members and the Rock of Ages cast - got the audience warmed up with a performance of “Nothin’ But a Good Time.” It’s what happened after the song that made the most impact.

If you look closely, you can see that the lead singer missed his mark as the stage transitioned from one set to another. While Stockard Channing was preparing to sing in the foreground, the Rock of Love star was being hit in the face (and knocked to his ass) in the background.
According to his publicist, Bret walked away with a fractured nose and a stitched lip from the awards ceremony. Despite the embarrassment, the musician reportedly “had a blast performing.”
