  • CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm):  “A convicted killer () on death row receives a 24-hour stay of execution after doubt is cast on his guilt.” New evidence suggests he may have been given that girl’s underpants.
  • Hoarders (A&E, 10pm):  “A firefighter whose home overflows with his possessions.” That’s just a fire waiting to happen! Oh -  maybe that’s the point.
  • Damages (FX, 10pm):  “Patty and Phil, locked in their bitter divorce battle, find one piece of common ground: their dog.” Phil - if you love the dog, just give it to her. Trust me.

Sunday Ratings: Close Game Scores Touchdown for FOX

NFC Championship Game 2010The gridiron action between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings was just about the only thing people were dialing in to watch last night. (Repeats offered by the competitors helped paved the way.)

Yesterday’s tight game brought in a whopping 57.9 million viewers, a record for any NFC Championship Game ever held on FOX.

The Saints’ defeat over Brett Favre - which pulled in a 21.3 rating with the 18-49s - was also the most-watched event of the season.

Wednesday Ratings: A Win-Win for New York and FOX

Last night’s baseball game ended in a victory for both the New York Yankees and the network. Wednesday’s finale helped bring the overall series average to 19.4 million viewers.

Tuesday Ratings: CBS Dominates the Evening

Baseball’s American League Championship Series was no match for the triple-header on CBS. The Eye network’s NCIS/Good Wife lineup hit a home run in both the viewers and demos last night.

  • (20.6 million, 4.7/13 in 18-49) did about the same as last week.
  • (9.8 million, 3.9/10) hit a season high.
  • Game 4 of the (3.0/8) rallied 9.5 million.
  • ‘s finale (6.2 million, 1.9/5) matched a season high.
  • (2.4 million, 1.1/3) remained steady.

Friday Ratings: Mediocre Return for Ugly Betty

Fridays might not be a fashionable showcase for Ugly Betty. Over the weekend, the ABC program debuted to a lackluster 5.1 million. Although the show managed to pull in Supernanny-esque numbers, it was down nearly 5 million viewers from its last Thursday premiere.
