Sunday Ratings: CBS Steels the Win

Last night’s Steelers/Ravens playoff game was by far the evening’s biggest draw. The competition on the gridiron - coupled with a special episode of The Mentalist - gave CBS easy wins in both categories.
8pm
- Approximately 40.6 million watched Pittsburgh beat Baltimore on CBS.
- Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (8.6 million, 2.9/7 in 18-49) was down 1.7 million.
- Dateline (1.1/3) pulled in 5.8 million.
- A block of The Simpsons* (2.0/4) averaged 4.35 million.
- CW‘s broadcast of Mr. Mom (0.4/1) entertained 1.2 million.

- The 100th episode of Desperate Housewives (13 million, 4.6/10 in 18-49) took an 800,000 hit.
- The SNL Presidential Bash* (1.5/4) brought in 4.9 million for NBC.
- Family Guy* (2.2/5) had 4.9 million laughing.

- The Mentalist (16.4 million, 4.6 in 18-49) had its best demo performance yet.
- Brothers & Sisters (8.9 million, 2.8/7) was down 200,000.
