Now that I’m on it, it’s pretty cool.”

Justin Bieber on CSI set

That look on Justin Bieber’s face can only mean one of two things: He’s either failed to outrun a pack of screaming girls with his Segway or he’s shooting episode of CSI.

In the hit show’s Season 11 premiere, the 16-year-old singer will be featured as a “troubled teen” from an anti-government family. The episode will mark just one of two appearances for Bieber. He’ll also reprise the character - Jason McCann - sometime in February.

Justin Bieber to Make His Acting Debut

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, Video,

We’ve often heard girls scream on CSI, but I’m not sure they’ve screamed while watching .

Although he’s already appeared in a few Saturday Night Live sketches, won’t officially make his acting debut until later this fall. That’s when the teen singing sensation helps the hit CBS drama kick off its 11th season.

Bieber, 16, will play Jason McCann, a “troubled teen” who has an “explosive confrontation” with the CSIs following a situation involving his only brother. It’s a storyline that won’t see a conclusion until later in the season.

This won’t be the first time the hit series has featured a popular young singer. Taylor Swift also guested on an episode of CSI back in March 2009.

Thursday Ratings: NBC Showered with Good News

Hey NBC - primetime might actually survive in the post-Jay Leno world after all. Last night’s arrival of Jim and Pam’s baby on The Office delivered something the network hadn’t seen before, a victory over Grey’s Anatomy in the demos. That one-hour special lead into another nice win for the network. The Marriage Ref‘s time slot debut also defeated the competition in the 18-49s.
