Most digital watches are tacky, and some analog watches are difficult to read. However, the The Qlocktwo W by German studio Biegert & Funk offers up a stylish and intelligent solution. The watch spells out time by displaying it in five-minute intervals (i.e. it’s five past three.) In order to compensate for the minutes in between dots appear at the bottom of the watch until a new five-minute interval accrues.
You might have seen this design in a wall clock B&F produced, which sells for about $1,100. The wristwatch won't be much of a deal either, as it's set to sell for around $700 USD. If you’re ready to pick this watch up, you’ll have to wait. There’s no set release date yet, however you can sign up for updates on the studio's site.

Draw Something update brings sharing, saving, messaging, and notifications
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Games, App Updates, $0.99, Free Apps,
You knew that when Zynga acquired Draw Somthing creator OMGPOP that we'd start seeing some updates hitting the app with the quickness, right? Well, the firstpost-purchase update has arrived, and it brings a quite a few welcome features to the drawing game. Let's run them down.
First comes the addition of commenting, which allows you to type short messages to your opponents along with your drawings. This makes it easy to give a compliment (or a WTF) in response to a work of art, or a horrible guess. The app also picks up an undo button that will remove your last-drawn line without you having to suffer through using the eraser. iOS users can also save drawings to the Camera Roll, and also share them to Facebook and Twitter with ease.
The update is available now for iOS and Android users.

Vietnamese cop clings to wipers of speeding bus
Posted by Andrey Malskiy Categories: Transportation, Videos,

Normally, people in the States have respect for authority and listen to them for the most part. But apparently in Asia, that is optional.
When Vietnamese traffic lieutenant Nguyen Manh Phan attempted to pull over a bus driver heading the wrong way down the street, the driver decided to flee instead of pulling over.
So what’s a foot officer left to do? Well, he jumped onto the front of the bus, of course. The officer positioned himself and held on for dear life as the driver continued on his route. The bus eventually pulled over, but not before the incident was caught on tape. Check out the video for yourself.

BMW owners most likely to cheat on spouses
Posted by Andrey Malskiy Categories: Science, Transportation, Videos,

A recent, we’re sure very technical, study conducted by an online dated service from the UK has found that BMW owners like most likely to cheat on their significant other.
NineMSN.com says there is an “intrinsic link between success and cheating.” BMW topped the list of followed by Audi and Mercedes-Benz a close third. Though we’re not too sure BMW would accept this award, but it’s one more bragging right they can add to the list!
This isn’t a novel idea either, a few years back Mercedes-Benz capitalized on the concept while promoting its AWD system. Check out the video after the jump!

IKEA reinvents HDTV with Uppleva (video!)
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: HDTV, Home Entertainment, Smart Home, Videos,

IKEA is coming to the rescue of wives everywhere who are fed up with the endless mess of tangled wires in the living room with its Uppleva HDTV. Yes, IKEA is making it's own HDTV, and it's pretty wonderful. First, the tech: 1080p LED display, Wi-Fi-ready, 400Hz, FM radio, DIVX HD, with three USB inputs and four HDMI inputs as well. So, what makes this television so special? It's the fact that the actual display part is just that - a display. All of the goods are built into the surrounding furniture, which is also part of Uppleva. For example, the television also has a Blu-ray player built-in - but it's located beneath the monitor, in the console area. All the wiring is built into the furnite, so it's not visible.
You can add in your own components, of course, and the wiring is handled the same way, allowing everything to be neat and tidy. Also cool? There is a vast array of colors and designs. Uppleva is modular, so you can build it out in any way you see fit. Expect it to launch in the fall for 6,500 Swedish crowns (that's $960 to those of us in the USA.) Wanna get a peek at how it works? Check out the video after the break.
