RihannaRihanna is back in the studio working on her eighth album.

The "We Found Love" star is reportedly planning a duet with Katy Perry and has been working with producer DJ Mustard on her next, as-yet-untitled, record. "I'm finally going in [the studio] with Rihanna. I'm just doing what I think she would like, and if she don't like it we'll just figure out something else in the studio, and I'll just keep making beats 'till she figure it out. But she's gonna get one," he said.

DJ Mustard, real name Dijon McFarlane, has previously worked with the likes of Young Jeezy, B.O.B, Meek Mill and Bow Wow and has hinted at a more urban sound for Rihanna's next album.

In November last year, it was announced that the producer had signed with the singer's label, Jay Z's Roc Nation.

BeyonceBeyonce feels a "responsibility" to her fans and their children.

The singer claimed her recent self-titled album has given her the opportunity to be herself after spending 15 years focusing on how she appeared to her younger fans.

Speaking in a new YouTube video called "Honesty," she said, "Now I'm in my 30s, and those children that grew up listening to me have grown up, and I always felt like it was my responsibility to be aware of kids and their parents and all these generations. And I felt like, in a sense, I could not express everything. I've done so many things in my life, in my career, that I feel like at this point I've earned the right to be me and to express any and every side of myself."

Beyonce and Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus thinks Beyonce's pop career has peaked.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer has claimed the star is out of touch with modern music and believes she can take her place at the top of the music ladder, Speaking in the new issue of Love magazine, Miley said, "Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she's been out for such a long time. She's so talented and I think she's at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that's what I bring to the game now, new blood, I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I'm just the best."

Miley, 21, is determined to knock queen of pop Beyonce, 32, off her throne and believes her rival's focus is now on raising her daughter Blue Ivy - who turns two next week - with her husband Jay Z: "As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now. I'm the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right.

Beyonce KnowlesBeyonce recorded "about 80 songs" for her surprise album.

The 32-year-old singer released her self-titled record earlier this month following a year of hard work, and she admits she had a hard job of whittling the tracks down to a selected amount.

Speaking in her Part 3 Run 'N Gun video chat on YouTube, she said, "When I started picking the songs that I gravitated towards, because I recorded about 80 songs, it was the songs that were more effortless to me that stuck around." The album features a collaboration with her husband Jay Z - whom she shares two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with - on the song "Drunk in Love," and she believes the track worked well because they just had fun: "I kind of free-styled the verse, and Jay went in and he started flowing out his verse. We just kinda had a party. It was so great, because it wasn't about any ego, we weren't trying to make a hit record. we were just having fun. and I think you can hear that in the record."

BeyonceBeyonce was "really nervous" about the surprise release of her self-titled LP.

The "Drunk in Love" singer, who is celebrating selling more than one million copies of her fifth studio record, admits it was a "huge risk" releasing it without any prior promotion. She answered fans' questions via her Instagram account at the weekend at a screening for the record's accompanying music videos.

"I was terrified. I was so scared. I already envisioned like the worst things that could happen. Honestly, I was at a point where I felt like, you know, everything feels the same. That's how I felt and if I could not challenge that, then maybe it's time for me to do something else or develop more artists, which is something I want to do," she posted. "I just hope that I continue to move forward and challenge myself, and I think now that I've become a mother, I just want my legacy to inspire people."

Meanwhile, retailers such as Amazon and American company Target are refusing to stock Beyonce after it was released exclusively on iTunes. The digital giant were given a one week exclusive window to sell the 14-song, 17-video album, which features contributions from Drake, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake.

RihannaRihanna is planning to release two albums in 2014.

The "Stay" hitmaker has put out a new record every year since 2009 and although this year she hasn't released another she is hoping to have "big hits" in the future. "'The plan is to put two records out. Rihanna wants big hits on both the albums," a source told The Sun.

The Barbadian beauty's last album Unapologetic hit shelves in November 2012 and she's since been busy on her Diamonds World Tour, which kicked off in March this year, in support of her seventh studio album.

When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete," the label's creative director, Olivier Rousteing, previously said.

The "Monster" rapper is said to have been approached to play a concert at the NFL Owners Party during Super Bowl week in 2014. According to TMZ, the offer was for Eminem to perform a set of his greatest hits for 1,500 guests following a lavish dinner, but organizers were forced to find a replacement act after the rapper demanded the hefty fee.

Reps for the event were also eyeing a performance from Kanye West only to find that his fee was also out of budget. "[For Kanye] it was $1 million, plus a lot of other perks," a source revealed.

As a last resort organizers have reportedly snapped up "Tight Rope" singer Janelle Monae who will perform for a more reasonable $150,000.
