Prince Rita Ora

Prince's new album features a duet with Rita Ora.

The "Purple Rain" hitmaker gave one lucky reporter from the Minneapolis Star Tribune a preview of his as yet untitled upcoming album, which is expected to be released later this year and includes a "rare rap song" he recorded with the British pop sensation. Prince went on to reveal he wants to release the track, described as "aggressive and menacing," as soon as possible for it to stay current because "time is money" for celebrities like Rita who could make cash "walking out of the house wearing a certain kind of makeup or sunglasses."

Ad-Rock and Mike DBeastie Boys have been awarded $1.7 million in a copyright lawsuit.

The surviving members of the hip-hop group - Michael "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz - have been handed the payout after winning their legal case against Monster Beverage Corporation, which they sued for the unauthorized use of their music in a video advert.

The commercial featured five of the "Fight For Your Right" hitmakers' songs in a "Beastie Boys Megamix" and a message which read, "RIP MCA" to promote a show in 2012.

The groups' final member Adam "MCA" Yauch, who passed away in the same year after a three-year battle with salivary gland cancer, stated in his will that his likeness or art - which includes the music he made with Beastie Boys - was not to be used in any promotional material. "In no event may my image or name or any music or artistic property created by me be used for advertising purposes," the document read.

Iggy AzaleaIggy Azalea has blasted her critics for doing nothing with their lives.

The "Fancy" hitmaker, who was bombarded with a stream of negative comments from Nicki Minaj's fans, slammed her haters in a series of angry posts on Twitter yesterday, and also hit back at her own supporters for participating in "disgusting fan wars."

"Just remember while your all at home online cracking jokes about artists etc that Most of you have done NOTHING. NOTHING! With your lives... Don't flex someone else's achievements. So many of you Internet kids quote the feats of others as if they were your own. And just to clarify for anyone who didn't understand that last statement goes out to people who bully others," the 23-year-old Australian star tweeted. "Fan wars back and forth and all that s**t is all bulls**t. Someone who's music you love doing great should never be an excuse to be awful to others. That's my point I suppose. I just find it really disgusting."

MIranda Lambert and BeyonceMiranda Lambert wants to duet with Beyonce.

The country star's ideal team up would be with the "Single Ladies" star, as she's blown away by her vocal abilities. When asked about her dream duet, she replied, "Beyonce! I've seen her in concert five times."

However, for her new record, Platinum, the "Automatic" singer was very happy to sing with fellow country beauty Carrie Underwood on "Something Bad." She explained, "I sent her a rambling email asking her to do it. I figured she'd think I was crazy, but she wrote straight back saying she was in. I was so nervous the day she ended up coming to the studio. We ended up having a blast."

The 30-year-old singer also sings about putting on weight in the track "Gravity's A B****," but says she wrote the track to stay ahead of the game: "My fans expect me to lay it all out! I've always been happy with myself. But when I hit 30 I thought, it's not getting easier. So I chose to get ahead of it. There's still nothing I love more than a bag of Cheetos though."

Chris Brown and UsherUsher has recorded a collaboration with Chris Brown.

The "Good Kisser" singer has confirmed the troubled R&B star - who is currently serving a prison sentence for violating the terms of his probation, stemming from a 2009 assault on pop star Rihanna - will feature on his upcoming eighth studio album and it seems the track will reflect on Chris' recent troubles.

"The song that we did together, I think it answers a lot of questions. There's a lot mystery, I think, about a lot of things and the reality is we all are human. And though we may all experience hardship, it's in those times that people should really rally and remember why you fell in love with the artist, why you fell in love with the person," Usher said.

The 35-year-old star admits he hasn't had a chance to talk to Chris, 25, since he was imprisoned, but says the "Loyal" singer was in a "good place" after leaving rehab for anger management issues in February.

Jennifer Lopez and Iggy AzaleaIggy Azalea has collaborated with Jennifer Lopez on a new song.

The "Fancy" rapper has confirmed she has recorded a track with the "Same Girl" hitmaker for Jennifer's new album A.K.A.

Talking about working with the star during an interview with DJ Ryan Seacrest, she said, "She actually only asked me about two weeks ago, so I didn't have to keep the secret for too long. When I opened on tour for Beyonce I had to keep that under wraps for months, which really killed me."

The Australian singer described keeping her mouth shut about the collaboration as a "breeze" because it wasn't long before she could spill the beans. "I love her. I definitely used to sit in my bedroom as a young girl and lip-sync Jennifer Lopez songs, so it's very cool to have a song with her on her album," she went on.

Janelle MonaeJanelle Monae didn't like the audience at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The "Tightrope" singer joined OutKast on stage to sing with Big Boi at the event in Indio, California last month, and while critics claimed the show failed to live up to expectations but Janelle blames the crowd.

"I didn't like that Coachella audience. I'm happy I got to CounterPoint [Music Festival] in Georgia, because those were real festival-goers, in my opinion," she said.

Janelle joined Andre 3000 at the CounterPoint Music Festival to dance on stage during "Hey Ya!" last weekend and gushed about the band who have reunited onstage after a near decade-long hiatus: "That is my favorite duo, favorite rap group ever invented. They were in their time travel machine and they came back to see us, and I think we should all be grateful that they came back. The music is more fun, and lives are enriched with those two ATLiens performing. They're also great friends of mine, so it's great to see your friends do what they love doing and get the love and support they need."
