Julian Casablancas has hinted The Strokes won’t work together again.
The singer - who recently released critically-acclaimed solo album Phrazes for the Yong during the band’s hiatus - is delighted that his group’s debut LP Is This It? has been featured heavily in album of the decade polls. Unfortunately, he doesn’t believe it will be enough to get the “Last Nite” hitmakers to make another record.
“I really dig people are remembering our first album and it’s figuring in these best-of-decade polls, but sadly that’s not going to get us back into the studio,” Casablancas said.

Miley Cyrus might not be familiar with Jay-Z tracks, but she definitely knows her Poison. According to the pop singer’s mother (yes, Miley - I called you a pop star), the 17-year-old is in the process of recording a Bret Michaels-penned classic: “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”
Although Cyrus wasn’t even born during the band’s heydey, she says her first non-Billy Ray concert was a Poison performance in Nashville.
If the rumors are true, Michaels will even assist Miley on the song with his own guitar playing.

Bruce Springsteen’s cousin died from an accidental drug overdose.
Lenny Sullivan, who was the “Working On A Dream” singer’s assistant road manager, died on October 26 and autopsy results released this week showed he passed away of “acute amphetamine and heroin intoxication.” Sullivan’s body was found in his hotel room shortly before Bruce was to take to the stage. The discovery forced Bruce Springsteen to cancel his concert in Kansas City that night.
A statement on the singer’s website posted soon after the death read: “Lenny Sullivan, Bruce’s cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last 10 years, passed away today at the age of 36. A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family.”

UPDATE: Cuomo has just been released from the hospital
One day after a terrifying crash in New York, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo was reported to be “sitting up” and “talking clearly” in his hospital room.
The group’s lead singer and his assistant, Sarah Kim, were both injured in a Saturday morning incident that sent his tour bus down a muddy ravine about 40 miles west of Albany. The bus - also occupied by Rivers’ wife, daughter and nanny - hit a patch of ice before going through a guardrail and traveling an additional 8-10 feet down a slope.

Pamela Anderson is prepared to release her first pop single. Did anyone know she could even sing?
The song, “High,” is about high fashion…because Anderson knows so much about that. She’s recording the song with Richie Rich, who says “Pam says she wants to sing, but nothing too difficult, so she’s just going to sign the word ‘high’ over and over.”
He’s not serious about that…right?
