Lena Dunham to Quit Acting?
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Television, Dating, Features,
Lena Dunham doesn't want to act any more.
The Girls star, who also created the TV show, admits she doesn't love performing as much as she does standing behind the camera and watching other people take to the set. "I don't know if I'm going to want to act any more. I'm always relieved on the days I don't have to. I'd rather give parts to other women than be the woman having the parts," she said.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress - who plays unlucky in love aspiring writer Hannah Horvath in the HBO comedy - admits her relationship with boyfriend Jack Antonoff, whom she started dating shortly after Girls became popular, works really well because he accepted her "baggage." She explained in the April edition of Glamour, "'The dialogue around the show already existed, so it was sort of clear to him what the baggage of dating me was going to be. And I remember talking with him on our first date and him being like, 'God, all the articles about your nudity on the show are such b******t.' It's funny, because in some ways that's the conversation we still have when I'm upset [about the stuff I read]."

Kate Winslet Slams Pregnancy Critics
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Celebrity Babies, Pregnancies, Features,
Kate Winslet has blasted her pregnancy critics.
The Labor Day actress - who welcomed baby Bear with her husband Ned Rocknroll in December - was outraged to discover the public deemed her "irresponsible" for having three children by three different husbands, and doesn't believe anyone has the right to judge her for her lifestyle choices.
"No one has a right to comment on anyone's life or the choices I do or don't make. It's very easy to be judgemental until you know someone's truth. People have no idea at all. It baffles me, truly, that you can publicly treat a person like that. It's not very nice. I'm really sorry to the nation's press that I fell in love and got pregnant; I do apologize if you deem that irresponsible," she told British Glamour.
The 38-year-old star - who has a 13-year-old daughter, Mia, with her ex-husband Jim Threapleton and a 10-year-old son, Joe, with her second ex-spouse Sam Mendes - also scoffed at the idea of giving her newborn son businessman Ned's surname: "We haven't ever really had that conversation; it was always going to have my name. Of course we're not going to call it Rocknroll. People might judge all they like, but I'm a f**king grown-up."

Hailee Steinfeld Opens Up About Being Bullied
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Features,
Like so many other stars who are now praised for their talent and beauty, True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld was bullied at school.
The 16 year-old has signed up to support The Trevor Project, an organization that sets out to protect and empower bullied LGBT teens. Steinfeld explained in a recent interview why her bullied past inspires her to help others:
"Bullying is something I went through, from third to sixth grade, when I got pulled out [of school]. I still go through it. And if I can be the person who says, 'Trust me when I tell you it will be OK,' then I will be that person."
Wise beyond her years, Steinfeld also offered some insight as to why bullies act the way they do: "Often bullies are taking something [personal] out on others. If they use that energy to make someone smile, we can save so many people in the long run."
The full interview - in which the Californian teen opens up about upcoming roles - appears in next month's Glamour.

Selena Gomez: I’d Have Two Kids by Now if I Stayed in Texas
Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Movies, Music, Television, Child Stars, Features,
Singer-actress Selena Gomez has offered up what she believes her life would be like if she hadn't become a huge star and opened up about growing up with Disney.
In this month's issue of Glamour, the Spring Breakers actress claimed that she would have probably become a teen mom had she remained in Texas: "I'm terrified of what I would have become if I'd stayed there. I'm sure I'd have two children by now."
But that's not to say that she was exempt from the semblance of a high school experience:
"I grew up in one of the biggest high schools in the world, and that’s the Disney Channel. Everybody was falling in love with each other or not liking each other, and it was exhausting…and I was the shy one in the corner. And now I’m so opinionated, and I don’t have time for the cattiness. I have good people around me, and I’m glad I’m at the place I’m in. I wish I was there back then."
The Glamour issue hits newsstands on Tuesday, November 6.

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Television, Features,
Robert Pattinson has been named the sexiest man in the world.
The Twilight actor has topped Glamour's 50 Sexiest Men of 2012 poll beating a host of famous hunks to take the British magazine's title for the fourth year in a row. The 26-year-old star beat Thor star Tom Hiddleston and Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp into second and third place respectively.

Rihanna Tells Her Side of the Story

UPDATE: You can watch a portion of that interview here.
Rihanna said she felt like an entirely different pop star after she was attacked by Chris Brown.
The “Umbrella” hitmaker was astonished by the attention she attracted after she was abused by her then-boyfriend in February, likening it to the experience Britney had following her well-publicized breakdown in 2007.
“I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day,” she told Glamour magazine.

Rumer Willis Shops in Pajamas

So I can handle the baking hobby; however, I’m not sure I can understand Rumer Willis shopping in her pajamas.
The Sorority Row actress insists that she can go unnoticed in public as long as she doesn’t dress like a glamorous Hollywood star.
“I can still go down to the local supermarket wearing my jogging pants, and no one will ever recognize me. If I went down in my pajamas, no one would turn a hair. It’s when you get glammed up that the paparazzi will home in on you. But there is always, in Hollywood, a pressure to look your very best. Resist that, and you can live a fairly normal life.”
That Rumer—she’s got everything figured out! I’m sure that it has nothing to do with the fact that the paparazzi have no interest in her yet…
Quote of the Day: Miley Cyrus on Justin Gaston
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies, Music, Television, Hook-ups,

“I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong, and I’m ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it—they just want me to be happy. And I haven’t been that happy in a few years…working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I’m finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work. So honestly, I don’t feel like there’s anything to hide. And I love him so much I don’t really care.”

Britney Spears: Back on the Singles Market
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Photos, Editorials,

Britney Spears has a new MTV special, a new album and even a five-year plan for her future. Brit’s last plan (marry K-Fed, have a couple of kids, live happily ever after) didn’t quite work out. Maybe this one will.
“In five years, I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable,” Spears offered up her opinions in the latest issue of Glamour magazine. Is this meant to be a direct dig at her kids’ actual father, K-Fed, or just a random future wish from Brit?
“It’s hard doing it on your own,” Spears added in her interview, in what would certainly seem to be a pointed remark in Kevin Federline’s direction.
But before you boys start lining up to become step daddy number one, you’d better learn about Britney’s new habits.

Lily Allen Shocks Fans, Press at Glamour Awards

In less than a day, British punkster Lily Allen managed to shock both fans and press several times at Glamour‘s Women of the Year Awards, including a much talked-about quick departure due to her intoxication.
First there was the hair. Having just gone from dark to light, no one expected Lily to quickly change to an extreme pink! To be honest, while many folks slammed her fashion for the choice in hair color, I loved it! Okay, so I may be slightly biased since that is my own personal favorite hair color, but jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino and pop rebel Pink have both successfully pulled it off—why can’t Lily?
