A newly-single Tiger Woods addressed the media today, hours after his ex-wife’s interview with People was revealed.
During a press conference at The Barclays golf tournament in New Jersey, the 34-year-old said he wished Elin Nordegren “the best and everything.” “It’s a sad time in our lives. And we’re looking forward to in our lives and how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that’s the most important thing.”

Elin Nordegren Speaks Out for First - and Last - Time

Two days after her divorce was finalized, we’re finally learning – from Elin Nordegren directly – what happened toward the end of her marriage to Tiger Woods.
During an exclusive interview with People magazine, the 30-year-old mother of two set out to address several topics – including the rumors surrounding Tiger’s car accident and her knowledge of his affairs.
Although numerous women have linked themselves publicly with the golfer, his now ex-wife says she never had a clue. “I’m so embarrassed that I never suspected — not a one,” Elin admits. “For the past 3½ years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.”
And while it would be understandable for her to fly into a rage upon making that discovery, Nordegren claims she never hit her husband on that Thanksgiving night last year. “There was never any violence inside or outside our home,” she insists. “The speculation that I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous.”

Nearly six months after his public apology to his wife, Tiger Woods’ marriage to Elin Nordegren is officially over.
Both parties appeared briefly in a Florida courtroom today to finalize their agreement.
The divorce came nearly 9 months after Tiger Woods hit both a tree and a hydrant outside of the family home in Florida. That incident lead to a string of reports about the golf star’s infidelities.
No financial details about the split have been made public, but the two will reportedly “share custody” of their two children - daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 19 months – according to a statement on Woods’ website.

Missed the (scripted) apology heard around the country today? Well, here’s your chance to watch all 13.5 minutes of it.
During Tiger Woods’ highly-controlled speech, the golfer addressed a number of topics. No - His wife, Elin Nordegren, did not hit him on in the evening of Nov. 27, nor has she ever struck him. Yes - He does plan return to play golf some day, he just doesn’t “know when that day will be.” No - Woods didn’t think “normal rules” applied to him; he thought money and fame “entitled” him. Yes - Tiger has already been in rehab for 45 days and, starting tomorrow, will go back for more treatment and more therapy.

Tiger Woods in Counseling?

Us Weekly reports that Tiger Woods has been staying in a Long Island, New York home belonging to billionaire Jim Dolan. It is also reported that a psychiatrist has been visiting regularly to counsel the golfer.
The claim has been denied as “categorically false and preposterous on its face,” by a spokesperson for Madison Square Garden, property which is owned by Dolan.
The magazine goes on to make even bolder claims, speculating that Tiger Woods spent the recent holidays with alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel and that estranged wife Elin Nordegren has been drinking heavily.

The media has been following his wife around for weeks, and shortly after his accident reporters were riding boats on the lake near his Florida home. Through it all, there wasn’t a whisper of Tiger Woods. Where’s he been?
E! Online is reporting that Woods has been holed up in New York’s Trump Hotel 1. “Sources” say there has been no sign of Elin Nordegren, Tiger’s wife.

Elin Nordegren, wife to Tiger Woods, has remained incredibly stoic throughout the recent scandal surrounding her husband…but she may be making ready to make her move. She finally cracked under some of the pressure, telling reporters at OK! Magazine that the couple’s two children “are doing just fine.”
But things are getting shaken up. According to TMZ, a moving truck was recently spotted outside the Windermere, Florida home owned by the couple. Workers carried ladders into the home, possibly to repair damage that resulted from the reported altercation between Nordegren and Woods on the night of his accident.

Tiger Woods Scandal: Death Threats, Missing Rings and More

TMZ is reporting that Rachel Uchitel, Mistress Number 1 in the Tiger Woods scandal, has been receiving death threats. Her old cell phone number was made public via a 2001 photo; this old number points callers to the new digits. Now, Uchitel is receiving messages wherein callers threaten to go to New York for the express purpose of doing her bodily harm.
Getting fifteen minutes of fame isn’t always fun, people. Uchitel’s Facebook page was so filled with negative comments and threats, it has been shut down.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren, was recently spotted in Florida without her wedding ring. Nordegren pumped her own gas and smiled as cameras caught her picture.
The Department of Children and Family Services in Florida recently paid a visit to the Woods home. The sheriff’s department was also called in during this visit, however “The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not at liberty to discuss the reason for the visit,” according to one spokesperson.
