EndScore Report: Boo To Tiki Barber

EndScore Report talks about the merits of a Tiki Barber comebackChris and DV talk about the merits of a Tiki Barber comeback - the history with his former team, the New York Giants, as well as what he can bring to a team and to what degree his impact would be. Considering the title, we don't think much about Barber. Especially when you consider the straight hating Barber has spewed towards Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning. Don't be mad because you quit a year before the Giants won the Super Bowl, Tiki. Anyway you can DL the ESR here!

AP unanimously names Tom Brady NFL Most Valuable Player

Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Athletes, Kudos, News, NFL,

Tom Brady named AP NFL MVPNew England Patriots QB Tom Brady was the first ever unanimous choice for AP NFL MVP. He last won the MVP award in 2007, that time receiving 49 of the 50 votes with one voter voting for Brett Favre. It was a no-brainer that Brady would win the award after putting up 3900 passing yards, throwing 36 touchdowns versus a minisclue four interceptions, and a stellar 111.0 QB Rating. He led the Patriots to a 14-2 record, but were quickly ousted by the New York Jets in the AFC divisional round. While the MVP award is sweet, it's still nothing compared to what Brady and the Patriots work for - a Super Bowl trophy.

Green Bay Packers defeat the Chicago Bears and are now Super Bowl bound

Posted by Dennis Velasco Categories: Championship, News, NFL, Playoffs,

Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers are Super Bowl boundThe Green Bay Packers went into Soldier Field to play the Chicago Bears and came out the victors in one of sports' greatest rivalries. It was the 182nd meeting between the two NFC North teams and it was a match-up as good as it was going to get - a game that determined who would go to the Super Bowl. In the end, it was the Packers with a 21-14 win, led by Aaron Rodgers and the much ballyhooed Packers defense led by Clay Matthews and a B.J. Raji interception run back for a touchdown. The Packers will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers for the right to be called Super Bowl champions.

True Predictions: Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints

Posted by Frank Nevarez Categories: Editorial, NFL, Super Bowl,

Description Last week I wrote:  “The Saints, to win, must sustain long drives and keep Peyton Manning off the field.” Somewhere between a Colts’ ten-point lead in the first quarter of the Super Bowl to the end of the second quarter, the Colts lost their mojo. Peyton Manning only had six snaps in the second quarter! Then the Colts lost the second half kick-off. Drew Brees spent the second half spraying the ball around to everyone, and the Saints took Super Bowl XLIV, 31-17.

DescriptionWent 2-0 with the Indianapolis Colts-New York Jets and New Orleans Saints-Minnesota Vikings match-ups. Season record hits 51-37. Look for the Indianapolis Colts to defeat the New Orleans Saints at Super Bowl XLIV. The Saints defense wants to punish Peyton Manning and the Colts defense may be without a healthy DE Dwight Freeney.
