Bleeding Edge TV 579: HP EliteBook Folio G1 hands-on

The HP EliteBook Folio G1 is a slim ultrabook laptop that aims to take on the Apple MacBook with an optional 4K display and dual USB-C ports. I chat with HP about the new EliteBook Folio G1 in this interview to get the details on what went into making this device special.

As you'll see, aside from the 4K UHD panel and the two USB-C ports (one of which supports Thunderbolt 3,) you also get premium Bang & Olufsen speakers, and a 12.4mm thin body with the 12-inch display. The hinge also goes to a full 180 degrees, and it's all powered by second-generation Intel Core M processors.

Bleeding Edge TV 290: HP Fall 08 notebook lineup, HDX featured

just unleashed a couple of new notebooks earlier today, including their new 16- and 18-inch units, just in time for the holiday season. We were able to spend some time with HP’s Kevin Wentzel to get a look at the entire consumer notebook lineup for this holiday season. It features the aforementioned HDX, a new HP Imprint finish for the dv5 and dv7 Pavilions, and their tablet as well. These things are affordable, and some are even powerful enough to replace your desktop at this point. In fact, we also have a look at HP’s notebook docking station as well, which fits right in with that line of thinking.

HP’s Kevin Wentzel gives us a look at the and MTV Take Action Make Art winning notebook design, as well as a first-look at the TX-2000 tablet, during . Kevin goes into the HP Imprint process, which is how they get their notebook finishes looking completely fantastic. He also goes into the different specifications that you can get on the new HP notebook computers, which can really be powerhouses if you need them to be. Bleeding Edge TV 188: MTV and HP’s Take Action Make Art Competition

Alright gang, this is our final video from the Your Life is the Show event that put on recently. In this episode, we chat with Jonathan Kaye about the collaboration between HP and MTV on their “Take Action…Make Art” competition. In essence, the contest is open to anyone who’d like to their their art transformed into the newest HP notebook design. Over at the official TAMA site, you can see all current entries, download design templates, upload your own creations, etc. It’s all fairly slick, plus the winner gets their design made and printed on 50,000 notebook computers.
