Seth Green to Guest Star on ‘How I Met Your Mother’

Buffy fans, rejoice! Oz Seth Green Will soon reunite with Willow Alyson Hannigan as a guest star on How I Met Your Mother.
Green will appear on the sitcom as Daryl LaCoutre, a man who considers Lily (Hannigan) and Marshall (Jason Segel) two of his best friends from college. Twelve years later, the pair run into him, but they have no clue who he is. LaCoutre apparently goes into stalker-sounding territory, as he is “creepily obsessed with having them [Lily and Marshall] in his life.”
The episode is tentatively schedule to air on CBS on December 10.
Until then, True Blood fans will want to tune into the show on November 12, when Joe Manganiello is set to begin his two episode arc on the hit series.

Seth Green to Give Viewers True Control

At some time or another, everyone has found themselves screaming at the TV screen. What if this actually had an effect, and you could force the person on the screen to obey your commands? Actor Seth Green is working on a project which could make this a reality.
Green is working with Matthew Senreich (Robot Chicken) and Richard Saperstein (Dimension Films) to set up ControlTV, a reality Web experiment which is set to debut in the fall. The show will revolve around a twenty-something (yet to be cast) who will follow orders as dictated by the views - everything from what clothes to wear to whom to date.
“‘ControlTV’ places the audience in complete control of a show for the first time ever, and we are eager to learn what they will decide for our protagonist,” Seth Green explained.
Sounds interesting. As Green said, “We really don’t know what’s going to happen. We have an idea based on our research, but at the end of the day, this is going to be what the people want.”
Seth Green currently stars as voice talent on Family Guy. He’s been seen in such movies as Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Be Cool and Old Dogs.

- Jon & Kate Plus Eight (TLC, 9pm): Season premiere. “Jon and Kate discuss recent controversies surrounding their family.” Is anyone else feeling really uncomfortable right now?
- Medium (NBC, 10pm): “Joe lands in San Diego with a new job, upending the DuBois family and forcing Allison to contend with his absence.” The family will later reunite when they make their move to CBS.
- Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!, 10:30pm): “Kourtney and Khloe both experience heartbreak when they deal with ending relationships.” Being abruptly dumped by Donald Trump has has been difficult for Khloe.
- The Tonight Show (NBC, 11:30pm): Mel Gibson kicks off Jay Leno’s final week. I wonder if he’ll have any interesting stories to share.

Long-Awaited Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reunion

It has been nearly five years since that fateful May night when BTVS fans witnessed the end of their beloved TV series. The following years, fans have intently watched as their favorite characters have branched off to new projects, leaving little hope of a BTVS movie, which so many “Buffy” lovers have longed and hoped for. Unfortunately, there are still no concrete plans of a movie, but fans have the Paley Center for Media (formerly the Museum of Television and Radio) to be eternally grateful to—they have announced a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion on Thursday, March 20th at the historic Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, CA!
