MONDAY (3/1)
- Chuck (NBC, 8pm): “Sarah resolves to keep her relationship with Shaw (Brandon Routh) purely professional.” It’s hard not knowing why all the girls call him a “Superman” around the water cooler.
- The Buried Life (MTV, 10pm): “The crew hits both coasts while attempting to land an appearance on late-night TV.” I hear Carson Daly is always looking to fill a few guest seats.
- Hoarders (A&E, 10pm): “A mother of 12 who sleeps in a homeless shelter because conditions at home are bad is profiled.” Note to Nadya Suleman: Hoarding children can make you homeless.

Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz have all been named presenters for the upcoming Oscars. The screen stars are just three of the many celebrities who will hand out the statues at next month’s ceremony.
Last year, Sean won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Milk, while Kate gave a teary acceptance speech after being awarded the Best Actress gong for 2008’s The Reader.
Penelope - who took home the Best Supporting Actress honor for Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2009 - is up for another accolade this year. The 35-year-old Spanish beauty has been nominated for her supporting role in musical movie Nine.

Anna Paquin Underwhelmed by Award Nominations
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Award Shows, Drama, Prime Time, Sci-Fi/Horror, HBO, NBC, Gossip,
Anna Paquin was more excited about passing her driving test than being nominated for a Golden Globe award.
The True Blood star - who is up for the Best Actress in a Television Drama honor - admits she’s thrilled to be acknowledged for her work but is happier that she now has the freedom to drive herself about.
“I’m oddly more excited about the driver’s license. I’m totally the two-handed driver, and I’m not very good at parallel parking,” she said.
The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards take place on Sunday, but Anna admits she doesn’t get too excited about attending glittering ceremonies. Paquin - who won the same award year and a Best Supporting Actress Oscar at age 11 - said: “It’s probably not any different than any other day.”

The 2009-10 awards season kicked into high gear this morning with the official announcement of the Golden Globe nominations.
Here are some of the noteworthy mentions from this year’s list of TV nominees:
- Freshman drama Glee leads all TV nominations with a total of four - including mentions for Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch. Damages, Dexter, 30 Rock and Big Love all got three noms.
- Although cable television dominated the Best Drama category, the major networks had a tight hold of the Best Comedy category.
- Newbies recognized this year include Courteney Cox (Cougar Town), Thomas Jane (Hung), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie) and Modern Family.
- Despite big buzz around Emmy time, Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons did not get any love this time around. Meanwhile, Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) was snubbed as well.
- HBO, once again, leads all channels with 17 nominations. FOX and Showtime both had six each.
The 67th Golden Globe Awards with host Ricky Gervais airs Jan. 17 on NBC.

It was just announced that two vets of Saturday Night Live‘s stage will combine their live audience experience to front next year’s Academy Awards.
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin’s dual selection comes just one year after Hugh Jackman received praise for his Oscars gig. It also comes one week after Ricky Gervais was appointed to the 2010 Golden Globes post.
“Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event,” Adam Shankman, this year’s producer, said.

Could the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards be another year for firsts?
Around this same time last September, the execs of basic cable were thrilled to see one of their own finally win the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series (Mad Men). Meanwhile, producers of reality fare saw an award given to one of their hosts (Jeff Probst). So which other category could be covered during this round? Animation.
For the first time since 1961 (when The Flintstones were still on air), an animated program has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series. So will Family Guy finally go where The Simpsons has never gone before? Not if the six other contenders have anything to say about it!
So who won? Who lost? Which funnyman took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor since Jeremy Piven wasn’t even nominated? Read our West Coast play-by-play account of this evening’s telecast and find out!
