VIDEO: Justin Timberlake Promotes SNL

Watch SNL’s season finale host, Justin Timberlake, warm up his funny bone in the promo above. Cast member Andy Samberg joins him in the commercial, and TMZ reports that the duo will re-team for another musical number that will air on this weekend’s show.

In only 15 seconds, the quick commercial spot pays homage to Oscar frontrunner Black Swan and manages to squeeze plenty of comedy out of a still-infamous Super Bowl moment.

Kevin Bacon Channeled His Inner Diva to Make Google TV Ad

Millions have seen the Google TV commercial starring Kevin Bacon as his own biggest fan. The ad left many scratching their heads … but, they were probably laughing when they were doing it. So, how does a one-minute ad spot become the stuff of legendary advertising? Take one actor who won’t compromise, some interesting hair and make-up ideas, and you’ve got commercial history.

“I didn’t know how far [Logitech] wanted to go with the look and the character. If it was just me kind of walking around, people would think it was weird,” Kevin Bacon explained. While people still think it’s a little bit weird, most seem to really “get” the ad -- and we’ve got Kevin Bacon to thank.

Before They Were Stars: Taylor Momsen Shakes Her Chicken

Before she was collecting tips in her shoes … before she started resembling the Bride of Chucky … before she started shaking things up on Gossip Girl ... Taylor Momsen was shaking her chicken.

In this 1997 commercial for Shake ‘N Bake, a then 3-year-old star tells the audience that she “shooked and mom cooked.”

Is this child labor the reason why Momsen blames her parents for making her so miserable?

As painful as Liz Lemon’s commercial for “1-(900)-OK-Face” was to watch, we at least knew that clip wasn’t real. Unfortunately for Tina Fey, this spot for Mutual Savings Bank is.

After watching the video, keep one thing in mind: The things you did - or wore - in 1995 won’t necessarily prevent you from earning multiple Emmys in the future. (Until that time, you can revisit the classic 30 Rock spot after the jump.)

Julia Stiles: Vodka Commercial Star?

When I associate celebrities with vodka, I usually think about Sean Combs talking non-stop about Ciroc on Twitter. I hear Donald Trump promoting Trump Vodka, despite the fact he doesn’t drink. I envision Dan Akyroyd pouring the liquid from a Crystal Head skull.

But do I ever think of Julia Stiles? Well, I didn’t…until now.

After checking out the actress’ new commercials for Stoli vodka, let us know what you think. Does Stiles make a good alcohol pitchwoman? Or should she stick to other things like her upcoming role in Dexter?

VIDEO: Did FOX, ABC Ban Cleavage-Filled Commercial?

Although the world should be used to seeing women parading around in their bras by now, there’s one thing Lane Bryant commercials have that Victoria’s Secret spots don’t: large breasts.

And when you have large breasts, you get lots of cleavage. And when you have lots of cleavage, you supposedly get banned by ABC and FOX.

According to Lane Bryant, a clothing company for full-figured women, both Victoria’s Secret-friendly networks rejected requests to air the ad. “It certainly appears to be discrimination against full-sized women,” one source told the New York Post. A Lane Bryant rep added. “There’s no difference other than they’re bigger girls.”

Needless to say, these accusations now have ABC and FOX both crying foul.
