Preview Justin Bieber’s Appearance on CSI
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, CBS, Video,
Although Justin Bieber is currently prepping for his number at Sunday night’s VMAs, we can see him perform now in an entirely different arena.
Later this month, the singer will guest star on one of his favorite shows. “Watching CSI growing up was really fun for me and my mom just sitting in our apartment,” the 16-year-old said about the hit CBS series. “I liked it because you never knew what was going to happen. Now that I’m on it, it’s pretty cool.”
Get a sneak preview of Bieber playing “bad kid” Jason McCann in the behind-the-scenes video above.

Painful Moment of the Day: Amazing Race’s Watermelon Accident
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Amazing Race, The, Spoilers, Video,
Top Chef may have ended The Amazing Race’s long Emmy-winning streak this year, but that doesn’t mean the CBS series has lost its spark.
In fact, Season 17 includes one of the most painful - and hilarious - moments I can recall in recent Race history. (If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought this scene was from Wipeout.)
Want to know how the contestant recovers from this melon mishap? Find out when the show returns on September 26.

VIDEO: Meet the Women of The Talk
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Daytime, Talk Shows, CBS, Video,
The six women of The Talk (Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Holly Robinson Peete, Julie Chen and Marissa Jaret Winokur) talked a great deal to Entertainment Tonight cameras. The crew stopped by a photo shoot for the series to ask each of the ladies how she felt about her five co-hosts. You can view the results in the video above.
The Talk is a highly-anticipated new talk show, scheduled to debut on CBS October 18. Each of the six women are mothers, with children ranging in ages. They will spend their time discussing current events, sharing stories and talking to the studio audience. Somewhere in the midst of it all, they’ll take the time to conduct interviews with celebs.

VIDEO: Levi Johnston Recants Apology to Sarah Palin
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Talk Shows, CBS, Gossip, Video,
In another installment of I-can’t-make-up-my-mind, Levi Johnston has flip-flopped on some of his previous statements—like we haven’t heard that before.
This time, Johnston, who plans to enter politics himself, says he “never lied about anything” and now regrets that he apologized to former Governor Sarah Palin at all. You can hear him address this and more in his exclusive interview with CBS’ The Early Show.

Justin Bieber to Make His Acting Debut
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, FOX, Gossip, Video,
We’ve often heard girls scream on CSI, but I’m not sure they’ve screamed while watching CSI.
Although he’s already appeared in a few Saturday Night Live sketches, Justin Bieber won’t officially make his acting debut until later this fall. That’s when the teen singing sensation helps the hit CBS drama kick off its 11th season.
Bieber, 16, will play Jason McCann, a “troubled teen” who has an “explosive confrontation” with the CSIs following a situation involving his only brother. It’s a storyline that won’t see a conclusion until later in the season.
This won’t be the first time the hit series has featured a popular young singer. Taylor Swift also guested on an episode of CSI back in March 2009.

VIDEO: David Hasselhoff Returns to Young and the Restless
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Daytime, Drama, CBS, Video,
David Hasselhoff won’t be formally roasted by Comedy Central until later this summer, but there’s no reason we can’t get a laugh at his cheesiness now.
Beginning June 15, the Hoff will reprise the role of Dr. William “Snapper” Foster, Jr. on The Young and the Restless. David, who left the daytime drama in 1982, will be back in Genoa City for only a short period. Snapper’s visit will reunite him with his siblings and ill mother.
You can see Hasselhoff talking about his return after the jump.

Preview S**t My Dad Says Series
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Comedy, Prime Time, CBS, Video,
Since most of our shows have ended for the season (or simply for good), it’s time to start taking a look at what is heading our way this fall.
If you have a Twitter account, chances are you’re already one of the 1.3 million followers of the “S**t My Dad Says” feed (yes, I know that’s not actually how it’s spelled). If so, you’re probably been asking the same thing I have: “How the heck is CBS going to turn this into a television series?”
Well - now we (kinda) know.

Paula Abdul Lands New Judging Gig
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, CBS, Gossip,
Paula Abdul may still be talking to FOX about doing some guest spots on American Idol. She might be working on a deal with Simon Cowell to appear on X-Factor. But she will be appearing on a new dance show on CBS. That’s right - somebody finally pinned the elusive ex-judge to a recurring gig.
Abdul will be the lead judge on Got to Dance, based on the UK hit of the same name. Paula will be working in front of and behind the camera on the the all-ages, all-genre dance show, which will debut at midseason (and therefore, will compete with American Idol).

Preview Conan O’Brien’s 60 Minutes Interview
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Prime Time, CBS, News, Video,
Fans of Conan O’Brien probably aren’t used to seeing him on air at 7:00 in the evening. They also are probably not used to seeing him speak without a smile on his face.
During his first interview since leaving NBC, O’Brien carefully touches upon his experience at the Peacock network. (He is not legally allowed to disparage them.) He also offers a few words on his predecessor/successor.
“If I had surrendered The Tonight Show and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well, uh…and then I would not have come back six months later… But that’s me, you know. Everyone’s got their own, you know, way of doing things,” Conan says in reference to Jay Leno.
