In this clip from the show’s premiere episode, Topher (Fran Kranz) and Boyd (Harry Lennix) reference the “wiping” that is done to their agents’ memories. (The operation has memories and personalities completely erased after each mission.) Question is: Does this teaser make you wish you could forget too?
Dollhouse premieres February 13 on FOX.

I Confess: I Love Old Teen Idols

I usually shy away from reality projects featuring Scott Baio (not falling for that one again), but I just may have to make an exception for VH1. The network will soon be premiering its brand-new Confessions of a Teen Idol, which features seven former hotties who all share the same mission: grab the brass ring.
You know, again.
They each had their shot at fame and some even spent a little time at the top. But Hollywood is capricious, and soon enough all of these men found themselves on the swift path to being has-beens. But VH1 - and apparently, Scott Baio - thinks they could be shining stars once more. Or at the very least, reality stars. Here’s the funniest part: Baio is part host, part mentor to these would-be famous-again celebs.
I know, it’s a total riot.

Watch Flight of the Conchords’ Season 2 Premiere Now

If you’re anticipating the next Flight of the Conchords season as much as you are Christmas, you can unwrap that present now.
Although the HBO series doesn’t officially launch until January 18, Season 2’s premiere officially debuted today on Funny or Die. This marks the first time the site has aired a full-length television show.
The episode - which can also be seen above - will only be available via Funny or Die through December 21st. After that date, it can then be found on HBO.com, iTunes and HBO’s YouTube channel.

Oh what three years and a change in public perception can do to an actor.
Back in June 2005, Tom Cruise’s press tour for War of the Worlds turned into a war of words between the actor and Matt Lauer. During a memorable appearance on the Today show, Cruise got into a fairly heated discussion about psychiatry (“pseudo-science”), antidepressants (“There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance”) and his critics (“I have never worried, Matt, about what other people think and what other people say.”) Tom also brought the underused word “glib” to everyone’s attention.

Yesterday evening, Amy Poehler finally made it official: her days with Saturday Night Live are now over.
Although she was not expected to return after the birth of her son in October, Amy surprised audiences last Saturday when she appeared in two sketches. This weekend, she reunited with Maya Rudolph (I thought was gone from SNL too?) for another episode of “Bronx Beat” before joining Seth Meyers on the news desk.

Paula Abdul Continues to React to Stalker’s Death

There are both perks and peril associated with being a celebrity, and often the public gets to see both sides of the sordid tale. Reality shows and paparazzi depict some celebs, like Britney Spears, enjoying free swank and designer labels. The grim news often shows a darker side of celebrity love and obsession. American Idol judge Paula Abdul has experienced both sides of this coin, and she’s still shaken up by recent events.
Paula Goodspeed, 30, killed herself in front of Abdul’s California home just last month. The event occurred after Goodspeed reportedly stalked the star. After the suicide, Abdul released a statement to the press conveying “shocked and saddened” feelings.

In one of those bizarre celebrity pairings, three time Academy Award nominee Tom Cruise recently sat down with MTV reality star Spencer Pratt. Er…sort of.
Cruise apparently stopped to chat on The Hills After Show (seriously, yes, there’s an after show) and ended up talking to a picture of Spencer Pratt (who I guess is way too cool to actually attend the after show). The famously married movie star offered up some pearls of wisdom to the newly-married TV personality.

Preview Laurence Fishburne’s CSI Debut

Wondering what a William Petersen-less CSI will look like? Well, here’s your chance to see how Morpheus might shake things up.
Later this week, The Matrix‘s Laurence Fishburne will join the CBS hit as Dr. Raymond Langston, the man who’ll eventually become a part of the investigative unit. The Oscar-nominee will play a former pathologist who aims to understand criminal behavior. According to the network, Langston wants to know “how and why people commit acts of violence—tendencies he disturbingly sees within himself.”
Look for Fishburne’s first appearance this Thursday, December 11.

Amy Poehler Makes Surprise Return to SNL

Although she had intended to move on from Saturday Night Live, Amy Poehler delivered an early Christmas present to her fans this weekend.
Poehler, who has been absent from the late-night program since giving birth on October 25, appeared in two segments during yesterday’s broadcast. After reprising her role as Hillary Clinton - who else could possibly play the future Secretary of State? - she reunited with Seth Meyers for another edition of the Weekend Update.
Could Clinton’s new cabinet position mean additional SNL appearances from Amy in the future? Keep your fingers crossed!
