Tuesday Ratings: Solid Return for Fringe

Okay - so Fringe might have had a little help from Adam Lambert. But FOX would have won anyway right? Despite its long absence, the freshman series returned last night to stronger numbers than when it left.
8pm
- American Idol (22 million, 7.8/21 in 18-49) was out of tune by 1.4 million.
- NCIS (17.6 million, 3.6/10) grew by 800,000.
- The Biggest Loser: Couples (8 million, 3.1/8) lost 800,000.
- It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown (1.3/3) rounded up 4.6 million.
- Reaper (2.3 million, 0.9/2) did about the same.

- The Mentalist (16.8 million, 3.6/9 in 18-49) was only off a notch.
- Approximately 14.3 million saw David Alan Grier leave Dancing with the Stars (3.3/8).
- Fringe (12 million, 4.7/9) improved by 14%.
- 90210 (2.1 million, 1.1/3) was up slightly.
10pm
- Without a Trace (12.2 million, 2.7/7 in 18-49) slipped by 500,000.
- Law & Order: SVU (9.1 million, 3.2/9) gave up 300,000.
- Cupid (6.2 million, 1.7/5) shrunk by 1.4 million.
