Tuesday Ratings: NBC Falls Behind

NBC suffered last night without its reality hit, The Biggest Loser. The network - which came in second last week - dropped to fourth in total viewers this time around.
8pm

- Approximately 24 million listened in on American Idol‘s Andrew Lloyd Webber night (8.8/24 in 18-49).
- NCIS (14.1 million, 2.9/8) dipped by 800,000.
- Both According to Jim (1.4/4) and Most Outrageous Moments (1.3/4) brought in 4.2 million viewers.
- Beauty and the Geek (1.6 million, 0.7/2) scraped up another 100,000.

- Dancing with the Stars (17.5 million, 4.0/10 in 18-49) grew by 2.5 million.
- Hell’s Kitchen (11.6 million, 5.1/13) catered to 500,000 more.
- Big Brother (6.7 million, 2.4/6) did about the same.
- The Best of Saturday Night Live (1.6/4) had 3.9 million reminiscing.
- A new Reaper (2.4 million, 1.0/3) improved upon its lead-in.
10pm
- About 11.5 million saw Olivia’s new boyfriend on Law & Order: SVU (4.0/11 in 18-49).
- Boston Legal (10.5 million, 2.8/8) picked up another 1.5 million.
- Shark* (4.8 million, 1.1/3) came in a distant third.
