Thursday Ratings: Lost Continues to Slide

Maybe last night’s episode was a bit too confusing? Whatever the reason, Lost is returning to old ways and starting to see declining numbers. (Not that it would have been able to stop FOX anyway.)
8pm
- Approximately 25.9 million said goodbye to another four on American Idol (9.1/24 in 18-49).
- The same audience saw the same person exiled on Survivor: Micronesia (12.5 million, 4.2/11).
- Lost* (5.2 million, 1.6/4) had 200,000 wander away.
- About 4.1 million checked in with The Office* (1.8/5).
- Smallville* made a showing with 1.8 million (0.7/2).

9pm
- Don’t Forget the Lyrics (14.6 million, 5.2/13 in 18-49) benefited from its nice time slot.
- Lost (12.9 million, 5.4/13) narrowly won its hour with the demos.
- Both CSI* (11.6 million, 3.0/7) and Celebrity Apprentice (7.6 million, 3.1/8) were slightly down from last week.
- Reaper* (1.5 million, 0.6/2) retained most of its lead-in.
10pm
- Without a Trace* (10.4 million, 2.6/7 in 18-49) fought hard for its demos.
- Eli Stone (7.5 million, 2.5/7) saw a slight increase in viewers.
- Lipstick Jungle (5.7 million, 2.5/7) did about the same as week ago.
