Thursday Ratings: Another Win for Reality Fare

So You Think You Can Dance continues to leap over its direct competitors. The show, along with 5th Grader, gave FOX another dual win last night.
8pm
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (7.8 million, 1.9/7 in 18-49) saw its score improve by 1.7 million.
- How I Met Your Mother* (1.3/5) dialed up 4.2 million; Rules of Engagement* (4.4 million, 1.4/5) did slightly better.
- The Office* (1.2/5) settled in with 3.5 million.
- Ugly Betty* (0.8/3) chalked up 3.1 million.
- Smallville* (2.2 million, 0.8/3) was up 300,000.
Variety
9pm
- So You Think You Can Dance? (8.8 million, 3.0/9 in 18-49) grew by 1.1 million.
- CSI* (7.7 million, 2.0/6) sliced off 1.7 million.
- Last Comic Standing (4.5 million, 2.0/6) brought in 400,000 more viewers.
- Supernatural* (1.9 million, 0.6/2) added on another 200,000.
10pm
- Swingtown (6.1 million, 2.1/6 in 18-49) slipped by 1.2 million.
- Fear Itself (4.7 million, 1.5/5) scared off 200,000.
- A two-hour Grey’s Anatomy block (1.0/3) averaged 3.2 million.
