I honestly don’t watch a lot of Smackdown, and have pretty much no idea where The Major Bros. came from. They look like the Nelson twins to me. (Some of you will get that reference.) Anyway, the Major Bros. defeated Jesse & Festus (another random team you might have seen ringside on RAW during Mr. McMahon’s bastard son hunt), Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore, Drew McIntyre (who??) & Dave Taylor and (what the) Duece & Domino in a tag team over-the-top-rope battle royal. The Majors win a shot at MVP and Mardy Hardy later that night.

Michelle McCool and Torrie Wilson cut (what I’m sure was) a stunning promo. Kenny Dykstra and Victoria interrupt which leads in an impromptu match.

I love watching McCool wrestle. She’s come a long way and is right up there, in my book, with the likes of Candice Michelle. I saw McCool wrestle live and was blown away. Alas, she loses this match to Victoria via spike DDT. Chuck Palumbo was in McCool’s corner. Remember Chuck? As in the gay tag team, “Billy and Chuck”? Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Rey Rey cuts a promo. I don’t care.

CM Punk beat Jamie Noble in what was a great match, I’m sure. Few people realize that Noble is one of the best cruiserweights out there. The guy was one of the masked Yung (or is it Jung) Dragons in WCW, and used to get into insane ladder matches with 3 Count (the horrid boy band stable with Gregory Helms). Noble can wrestle a match! Punk will defend the ECW title against John Morrison and The Miz (Cyber Sunday might have saved this guy’s career) at Survivor Series.

MVP and Matter Hardy beat The Major Bros. Shouldn’t come as any surprise. They teased a little trouble brewing (again) between MVP and Hardy. Just have the match between them and get it over with! They’ve built this feud up nicely and it is time to just have the match and let Hardy (hopefully) win the U.S. Title.

The Undertaker defeated The Great Khali in a no holds barred match-up via the … triangle choke? Are you kidding me? The Undertaker used a submission move to beat Great Khali? First of all, why is it that The Undertaker loses cleanly to the Ultimate Warrior-in-the-making, Batista, but can beat an 8-foot monster like Khali with a triangle choke? The logic boggles the mind. I mean, I suppose ’Taker can’t lose by DQ every time, but still - lose clean to Batista, win over Khali via submission hold. Whatever.

There you have it folks. Tune in Monday night for my RAW Reflections .
