Despite a strong debut last week, Trump & Co. could not measure up to the titans of Thursdays. Thanks to original episodes, ABC and CBS ended up splitting the spoils; the Alphabet network took the demos while the Eye network secured the viewers.
8pm

- Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? (10.1 million, 2.9/8 in 18-49) outsmarted the competition.
- Ugly Betty (10 million, 3.1/8) came in a close second.
- CSI: New York* (8.7 million, 2.1/6) did well despite being stale.
- My Name is Earl (3.4/9) kicked off NBC’s night with 7.7 million; 30 Rock (2.8/7) followed up with 6 million.
- Smallville* (0.9/3) checked in with 2.6 million.
9pm
- CSI (18.1 million, 5.0/12 in 18-49) was the most watched show of the evening.
- The last original Grey’s Anatomy (17.6 million, 7.0/17) was hot in the demos.
- Celebrity Apprentice (8.1 million, 3.5/8) was down 3 million from its premiere.
- Don’t Forget the Lyrics (2.3/6) sang to the tune of 6.7 million.
- Supernatural* (1.78 million, 0.7/2) barely factored in the race.
10pm
- Without A Trace (13.8 million, 3.4/9 in 18-49) was easily tops in the hour.
- About 9.1 million saw Abby’s return on ER (3.5/9).
- Big Shots (6.8 million, 2.6/7) was nothing to brag about.
