Thursday Ratings: SYTYCD Keeps FOX on Top

FOX safely transitioned into the post-Idol period with the help of So You Think You Can Dance. Last night’s premiere gave the network wins with both the viewers and the demos.
8pm
- Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance (8.8 million, 3.4/11 in 18-49) had the best demos of the night.
- NCIS* (1.3/5) pulled in 7.4 million.
- The finale of Ugly Betty (6.3 million, 1.9/6) was off 500,000 from last week.
- My Name is Earl* (1.1/4) turned in 3.3 million; 30 Rock* (1.2/4) rounded up 2.8 million.
- Smallville* (0.5/2) scored 1.4 million.

- Flashpoint* (1.8/5 in 18-49) sparked 7.5 millon.
- The season ender of Southland (6.4 million, 2.0/6) did improved by 2 million.
- Grey’s Anatomy* (1.1/3) sewed up 3.6 million.
