The introduction of American Idol’s results show changed up the Thursday landscape.  FOX added another night to its win column.

8pm

• American Idol (8.4/21 in 18-49) topped the evening with 23.2 million.
• Survivor (12.5 million, 4.0/10) saw 600,000 viewers eliminated.
• Lost* (1.7/4) kicked off ABC’s evening with 5.5 million.
• My Name is Earl* (4.5 million, 1.7/4) provided a little comedy to the hour.
• Supernatural* (1.0/3) brought 2.6 million to Smallville’s usual slot.

9pm

• Lost (13.6 million, 5.7/13 in 18-49) still managed to win its hour.
• Don’t Forget the Lyrics (12.5 million, 4.8/11) got a nice boost from its lead-in.
• CSI* (11.9 million, 3.1/7) wasn’t too shabby for a repeat.
• Celebrity Apprentice (8 million, 3.2/8) took a hit compared to last week.
• Supernatural (3.2 million, 1.3/3) had its largest audience of the season.

10pm

• Without a Trace* (12.1 million, 3.0/8 in 18-49) beat up two original episodes.
• Eli Stone (7.3 million, 2.6/6) was off about 500,000 from last Thursday.
• Lipstick Jungle (5.8 million, 2.5/6) slid about 300,000.
