Thursday Ratings: CBS Takes Another One

Improved numbers for the network’s lineup - including an impressive demo performance from Grey’s - just wasn’t enough for ABC. For the fifth straight time, CBS was Thursday’s highest-rated network.
8pm
- Survivor: Gabon (12.2 million, 3.8/10 in 18-49) sent 900,000 home.
- Ugly Betty (9 million, 2.7/7) drew in another 400,000.
- My Name is Earl (6.6 million, 2.6/7) added on 400,000 more; Kath & Kim (5.6 million, 2.4/6) was up a notch.
- Smallville (4.8 million, 2.0/5) hit a season high.
- A Kitchen Nightmares block (2.1/5) averaged 4.6 million.

- CSI (18.1 million, 5.1/12 in 18-49) was down by 500,000.
- Grey’s Anatomy (15.6 million, 5.9/14) picked up a 1/2 million.
- The Office (8.4 million, 4.2/10) lost 900,000; 30 Rock (8 million, 3.9/9) gave up 500,000.
- Supernatural (3.7 million, 1.6/4) improved by 200,000.
10pm
- Eleventh Hour (11 million, 3.1/8 in 18-49) fell by 500,000.
- Life on Mars (8.9 million, 2.9/8) tacked on 500,000 more.
- ER (8.6 million, 3.3/9) saw 500,000 check out.
