Heidi Klum’s Revealing Coffee Table Book
Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television,

Heidi Klum has teamed up with renowned photographer Rankin for a new coffee table book titled Rankin’s Heidilicious. The tome is full of nude pictures of the Victoria’s Secret model.
“It’s very naughty. I’ve been shooting with Rankin, for seven years and working with him is fun because he always makes me look different,” Heidi said. “He always gets me to take my clothes off for some reason. We’ll do some job and then he’ll say, ‘Why don’t we shoot some more things?’ and I’ll wind up without anything on.”
The book is due to hit stores in October.

The former manager to Paris Hilton is reportedly shopping around a new tell-all book which will detail that heiress’ early rise to stardom. It seems Miss Hilton never made him sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), so he’s free to spill all her secrets.
And spill, he will. The book is supposed to detail how manager Jason Moore “managed to save his mercurial client from disgrace by manipulating the media, and Paris herself.” Sounds juicy!

Kendra Wilkinson is penning a memoir.
The 24-year-old former Playboy Playmate - who is expecting her first child with her American football star husband Hank Baskett - can’t wait for the book to hit stores next year. Daily Snark: Jessica Simpson works the fat angle
Posted by Colleen McKie Categories: Celebrities,
Aren’t her 15 minutes up, yet?
In a desperate bid to hold on to even a smidgen of her celebrity, Jessica Simpson is slated to appear in another reality TV show. Apparently the new show, Price of Beauty, will have Jess and a friend travelling the country looking for beautiful people and what makes them beautiful.
The idea for the show came form Jess’ recent weight struggle. Just one more travesty caused by high-waisted Mom jeans.
Lindsay’s dad still a douche bag
Michael Lohan was arrested earlier this month for threatening to kill fiancée Erin Muller and then himself when she tried to put an end to the relationship.
Guys like this tick me off. Why not do us females a favor and forget about the first part of the threat? We really don’t care about the second part all that much.
White wedding
Meg White from the White Strips married boyfriend Jackson Smith. Also married were Dead Weather and the Raconteur bassist Jack Lawrence. The weddings took place at the Nashville home of Jack White, Meg’s band mate and ex husband. Benjamin “Swank” Smith officiated.
What was there no minister named Jack available?
Kanye is SMRT
Despite the fact that he has “written” a book, Kanye West doesn’t believe in reading.
“I am not a fan of books. I would never want a book’s autograph. I am a proud non-reader of books. I like to get information from doing stuff like actually talking to people and living real life.”
Just for the record Kanye? Books don’t give autographs, authors do.
Braille E-Book
Posted by Sheila Franklin Categories: Design, Misc. Tech,
With all the hoopla over the new Kindle DX, we think it is nice that someone has come up with a Braille E-Book. Translation of a 500 page book can double the thickness of the tome, so designers Seon-Keun Park, Byung-Min Woo, Sun-Hye Woo and Jin-Sun Park use EAP technology to change the surface pattern via electromagnetic signals. This is still a prototype but maybe Amazon can make it its next hot product.

George W. Bush Decides to Write a Memoir
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Where Are They Now?,
George W. Bush, the forty-third president of the United States of America, will put his thoughts to paper in a new memoir. The working title of the book is Decision Points, and the AP is reporting that it should be ready for publication sometime next year.
“I want people to understand the environment in which I was making decisions,” W. said over the phone to Associated Press reporters. “I want people to get a sense of how decisions were made, and I want people to understand the options that were placed before me.”
Bush famously coined the phrase “The Decider,” a title which he gave himself in defense of his War on Terror. Evidently, the book will explain to the public just what being The Decider means - in Bush’s mind, anyway. The memoir will explore a wide range of decisions, including his vice president selection of Dick Chaney.
No financial details on the book have been released.

American Idol Tell-All: A Real Possibility?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Prime Time, Reality, FOX, American Idol, Gossip, Rumors,
Rumors have been brewing for years that someone is penning an American Idol tell-all that will divulge all the dirty details many viewers already suspect. One blogger claims to have a “tipster” who has new information on the rumored tome.
The book is reportedly being penned by an ex-employee of the popular reality series. According to the unnamed source, juicy details to be featured in the upcoming novel include: “medication/drug issues of Paula” and details about her “two gallon-size Ziploc bags full of orange prescription bottles, as well as dozens of loose pills at the bottom of each bags.”
It will also describe details about Idol plants, long rumored but scarcely confirmed, and deals they have “worked out with the show” that allow them to “avoid the audition process.” Another tidbit tells us that the book will also delve into song choice and producer persuasion therein, suggesting that some contestants are forcibly compelled to change their choices.
But this is not the first time these rumors have surfaced - nor the first time someone was supposed to be writing a book about them. Is the American Idol tell-all a real possibility…or just another TV show myth? Doesn’t it make more sense to believe that any ex-employees of the show who might have some sensitive information have long since signed non-disclosure agreements?

Patrick Swayze Memoir Due Out This Fall
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Movies,
Even though he’s already opened up to Barbara Walters, Patrick Swayze still has a lot of story left to tell.
The 56-year-old and Lisa Niemi, his wife of 30 years, are currently working on a memoir that will hit the shelves this fall. According to Atria Books, the currently untitled project “will offer an intimate account of Patrick Swayze’s childhood, career and marriage, as well as his brave fight against a diagnosis of stage-four pancreatic cancer, from which he has gleaned wisdom and has remained resolutely optimistic.”
Lisa will also contribute passages about her experience “helping a loved one battle a life-threatening disease.”
Swayze says his intention is to help those who might benefit from the book. “With everything I’ve been fortunate enough to do in my life, and covering such a wide range of diverse subject matters, I’m told that my story has been inspirational to people,” the actor said in a statement. “I will write from my heart about these experiences and aside from the sheer pleasure of doing it, if people happen to garner inspiration from it, or incentive, or find a new way to love, it would be wonderful.”

Sanjaya Malakar, the Author
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Music, Television, Where Are They Now?,
During his time on American Idol’s sixth season, Sanjaya Malakar enjoyed a unique sort of fame. His biggest critics said he couldn’t sing a lick - but nothing could sway his fans from their die-hard devotion. He made waves with his changing hairdo and seemingly against-the-odds run on the show…but does Malakar have a few waves to make for the series yet?
“I realized that I had a story that no other past contestant has said,” Sanjaya Malakar recently told Access Hollywood.
The realization led him to pen the autobiographical Dancing To The Music In My Head, which will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Idol, told from Malakar’s point of view. A companion CD of the same name will be released at the same time.
