Now that we've gone over the new iPad Retina display and the iPad Dictation feature, we're ready to focus on the next big feature of the 3rd generation Apple tablet. The introduction of 4G LTE into the iPad is a bigger deal than many realize, because now you have speeds that rival many home broadband connections, wherever you are. The 3rd generation iPad can even be used as an LTE hotspot, for no additional cost, if you pick up the Verizon Wireless model. In this video, we compare our Wi-Fi network speeds (we have FiOS) against the 4G LTE Verizon Wireless connection. As you'll see, it's impressive.

We gave you a look at the new iPad Retina display in our last video, and now we're here to show off the DIctation feature. Dictation allows you to speak your words to the iPad while it listens and attempts to turn your words into text typed into the app your using. As you can see in the video, Dictation is easy to use (it's right on the keyboard, next to the space bar,) but it doesn't always get everything perfect. You also need to remember to speak your punctuation when using the feature. It's definitely convenient, and easy to go in and clean up any mistakes after the fact. Get a look at how it all works in the video above.

The new iPad (3rd generation) was released two weeks ago, and in that time, Apple has already sold millions. The biggest and best feature of the device is the high resolution Retina display. When you compare it against the original iPad and iPad 2 displays, it's apparent that it's a big step up from what we've had before. In fact, it's the highest resolution display ever shipped on a portable device. We give you a look at the iPad (3rd generation) focusing on the Retina display in this, the first in a series of videos where we will focus on a major feature of the new iPad.

The guys over at Hennessey have always had a knack for speed, power, and record breaking. So it doesn’t come to us as surprise that they broke the standing mile record down in Texas. The trio used their Ford GT to reach the record setting speeds at 257.7 mph.

Beneath the wildly wrapped GT lies the beast that powered it all: a twin-turbo charged motor. Their previous setup included a supercharger as well, but that was scrapped and swapped with a more efficient twin turbo setup. What the video above to see the record setting run from the cockpit.

Mini has been on a crazed marketing campaign, and went on the record as to say “expect the unexpected.” Now doing a few donuts here and there is a far cry from the unexpected, but setting a man to fly off the top of a Mini Countryman’s roof definitely qualifies. Check out the John Cooper Works Mini in action above!

nokia lumia 900 $99

This morning, AT&T announced that the Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone will launch at just $99 on April 8th. This confirms the rumors that we've been hearing for over a month now, and puts a top-of-the-line, fantastic 4G LTE smartphone on the market at a price that all experts agree is a steal.

Seriously, with a two-year contract, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal on a smartphone. Windows Phone 7.5 is a great mobile operating system, the Lumia 900 is a beautiful device, and it's packing a great 4.3-inch display and 4G LTE speeds.

If you're gonna be looking for a new smartphone starting next month, do yourself a favor and at least research this phone. In fact, you can check it out in the video after the jump.

Paris is one of the trend-setting cities of the world when it comes to fashion and delicious food. However, when it comes to personal transportation, like all metropolitan cities in Europe, it's better to walk than drive. However, soon that may all be changing, as Vélib' and Autolib' launched their ride-share programs. Vélib' features over 20,000 bikes, and Autolib' currently features 250 cars and is expected to grow to over 3,000 cars, by next year. The rental prices range from $12-21 an hour. Not a bad alternative to mass transit. Check out the video above to see how it works.

Ah yes, tire-roasting donuts; what could be greater than that? How about you multiply it by 70 and break the Guinness World Record for largest number of cars successfully preforming donuts!

Earlier this week at Infineon Raceway, 70 plus cars showed up to execute this challenge. They prevailed. Check out the video above and see the mayhem.

The Fisker Karma was one the electric cars we hoped would have led the pack in design. Instead, it seems to be an example of what not to do. The guys over at Consumer Reports bought the EV for testing and they weren't able to get very far.

The Karma only made it 2,000 miles before breaking down. With a little more research, they found out that other owners had similar, if not more horrific experiences. There have been reports of differentials going out at 1,000 miles, cars stalling out while doing 35 MPH, and trouble with shifting. Obviously, these are issues a new car should not have, let alone a car that cost over six figures.

But, hey, these are our words--if you wanna get the story from the horse's mouth, check out the video above!
