The folks up at Toyota and Subaru pushed the big red button, literally, sending the Toyota 86 (Scion FR-S for those of us in the United States) and the Subaru BRZ down the assembly line. Video: Colin Furze modifies a mobility scooter to hit 70 MPH

There are many things that you can build up and modify to make them go faster. Most people that want to do this sort of thing buy an old Ford or Chevy as their project cars to work on during the summer. Colin Furze isn’t like most people. Rather than focusing on a car, Colin took your average mobility scooter, dropped a 125cc motor into it, and took it out on a snow packed road to hit 70 MPH. Oh and everything on the scooter is stock, with the exception of the motor. It's an awesome project, the results of which you can see in the video above!

Translogic interviews The Jetman about his flying suit

The dream of personal flight has always been knocking at transportation's door, but never has it had the right sales pitch. Now, over in the Bex, Switzerland, Translogic had the opportunity to interview Yves Rossy, the Jetman. This guy isn't your average adrenaline junky--he's more of a visionary. His plan is to one day build an Iron Man-like suit for personal flight. We know, keep dreaming, right? Yeah, that project is nowhere near complete, but it takes research and development for big ideas to come to fruition. For now, the Jetman is busy perfecting his personal jetwing. Check out the video above for what one day could be sharing garage space with your car.

Brake-testing the SuperBus in the snow

We all know metro buses to be fairly dull and boring, but a group of student engineers from Holland figured that this isn't how buses have to be. From there, the SuperBus concept was born. Although the SuperBus does not follow a set route, you can send it a text message with your location, and it’ll come pick you up. The bus runs on electricity, features 16 gullwing doors, and is set to run about 155 miles before charging is needed.
So what do you do when it snows in the Netherlands? Whip the SuperBus out and conduct more testing! Check the video out after the jump.

Fiat hopes Charlie Sheen will help boost sales

Fait is taking a chance on Charlie Sheen in hopes of generating sales. The company is betting that the edgey appeal of Sheen will generate more hype for the vehicle, which has been suffering in sales.
The use of Charlie Sheen as a spokesman has generated questionable publicity, Chrysler’s chief marketing officer, Olivier Francois, stands behind his pick, stating, “He [Sheen] definitely has a bit of the scorpion in him.” Francois was the mastermind behind the “Imported from Detroit” ads which starred Eminem, and this years “Halftime” ad using Clint Eastwood. Advertising Age went on the record stating, “From drug use to allegations of domestic abuse, Charlie Sheen is a portrait of bad behavior.”

Check this one out as the 60th Anniversary Corvette 427 Convertible blows out some candles. Let's hope one of those wishes was for a better interior!

Russian engineer builds radio-controlled hovering DeLorean car

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted a hover car. More so, I wanted a car what was iconic. Now, granted, any hover car would be iconic, but I wanted something that would be undeniably cool regardless of what era the car was seen in. Well, with a few bucks, some creativity, and a little time on your hands, the dream is now possible.
Back over in the Motherland, a Russian engineer has built a radio-controlled hover car based on the DeLorean from Back to the Future. His mantra for the project is “Where we’re going, who needs roads?” which we find appropriate for the build. Though this isn’t a full size replica, it’s still one hell of a bragging right. Kelli Anderson’s twist on reality and generating creativity from TED

Imagine a piece of paper that could play sounds, solar powered popscicles, or the New York Times being optimistic. What do these things have in common? Nothing really, apart from the general constraints of our perception of our reality. We all know that paper isn’t audible and is instead flat and used for printing and writing. However, are the rules that we follow also holding us back from our own creativity? I may not shoot often, but when I do I make sure I shoot like a boss. Now, grante,d access to the most expensive equipment may not always be something that you can count on, but regardless of what camera you've got, lighting is key in any shot. Apart from solid lighting, thinking outside the box may also be necessary, as Blair Blunting uses Forza 4 to get inspiration for shooting the Lamborghini Aventador. Don’t believe us?
