Ylvis : Miley Cyrus Needs Controversy

Ylvis at this year's MTV EMAsYlvis believe Miley Cyrus will "kill" her career if she stops the controversial on-stage stunts.

The Norwegian popstars - who shot to international fame after their music video "The Fox" achieved over 200 million views on YouTube - put 20-year-old Miley's success down to her attention-seeking antics. The comedians turned pop duo - made up of brothers, Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker - performed alongside the "Wrecking Ball" singer at this year's EMA's where she lit a suspicious looking cigarette on stage during her acceptance speech.

"Poor girl she has to. Every other journalist on the red carpet asked us, 'What do you think she's going to do this year to provoke?' I mean if she doesn't do anything it's going to kill her. It will probably kill her anyway," Vergard joked, speaking exclusively to BANG showbiz about the singer's recent performances.

Drake Slams Chris Brown in New Single

Drake and Chris BrownDrake has slammed Chris Brown in his new single "Enough Said."

The rapper's latest track features previously unheard vocals by late R&B singer Aaliyah and has angered fans who have accused him of using the song as a vehicle to diss his love rival Chris.

"Running through the city with n****s I'd give a kidney/ Selling under 150 you n****s got to be kidding/ Is this even still a discussion?/ Don't you ever wake up disgusted?" Drake raps. The line has been perceived as a dig at Chris' mediocre album sales after his latest offering Fortune sold 135,000 copies in its first week while Drake's Take Care shifted 600,000.

Fans took to Twitter in a rage after hearing the song, which has been released to honor the anniversary of Aaliyah's tragic death in a plane crash. "I love Drake but not sure reworking Aaliyah for 10 year anniversary and 'dissing' Chris Brown in it is really in the right spirit!" @Cazba21 posted. @In_Boss_U_Trust asked, "Is the Drake song with Aaliyah in it really a diss to Chris Brown cuz if so, that's disrespectful."

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Pop, New Releases,

Lady GagaLady Gaga has come under fire for her new song about Princess Diana's death.

The "Bad Romance" star premiered new track "Princess Die" in Melbourne, Australia and outraged royal fans with her risque lyrics, which appear to reference the Princess of Wales' tragic death in a Paris car accident in 1997.

"And wish that I would go / In my rich boyfriend's limo / Right after he proposed / With a 16-carat stone wrapped in rose gold / With the papparazzi all swarming around /So bob head your head for another dead blonde," the lyrics read. Diana was fatally injured in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris, while in a car with her lover Dodi Fayed, and it is rumored that the Harrods businessman had recently proposed to her.

The 26-year-old singer's lyrics have been blasted as distasteful, but the singer is no stranger to controversy, having caused outrage by performing in a wheelchair and wearing religious garb in the past.

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Upcoming Releases, Pop,

TMZ is reporting that some members of the Jackson family are skeptical of the songs featured on the newest Michael Jackson album.

The gossip site says that the family thinks the singing doesn’t sound like Michael’s voice. Mom Katharine Jackson is scheduled to appear on Oprah Monday, but it’s not known whether or not she’ll address the album controversy.

Paparazzi recently caught up to LaToya Jackson to get her take on the situation. The singer/actress was very quiet and polite as she climbed into a taxi, telling the paps “I listened to it…It doesn’t sound like him.” LaToya was referring to the “Breaking News” single, recently released by Sony as a teaser for the upcoming album.

View TMZ’s video of LaToya’s comments, then listen to the song for yourself to decide what you think.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards

Jay-Z has defended Kanye West’s behavior at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The “Love Lockdown” star has come under fire for storming the stage when was accepting her Best Female Video prize, but his mentor insists the incident has been blown out of proportion.

“Kanye is like my little brother he’s just a super-passionate person. Of course it was rude because it was her moment, but that’s what he believed. I think it’s been blown out of proportion, he didn’t kill anybody, no one got harmed,” he said. “I think he’s passionate and he needs to watch that. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate him for his passion rather than vilify him, because the thing which causes him to make great records is what also makes him step out of line. He was inappropriate, it wasn’t fair to Taylor at all. Move on. But I don’t think he should lay low.”
