Rihanna “Shocked” to Win Grammy Award

RihannaRihanna was "so shocked" to win a Grammy award last week.

The 25-year-old singer wasn't at the ceremony when she won the prize for the Best Urban Contemporary Album for her 2012 release Unapologetic, but she admits she was stunned when she found out: "I was so shocked. Really, I was at home and one of my friends hit me and said, 'You've just won a Grammy,' and I was like, 'What?' and when I went on the internet I just saw Unapologetic. It was quite an emotional moment surprisingly. But I was in shock, I'm excited, it was a good feeling to still be that excited at this point in my career."

The "Stay" hitmaker was later spotted at The Young Money Cash Money Records party at Greystone Manor with her rumored boyfriend Drake. However, there may have been some awkward moments in between her partying as her rival Karrueche Tran was also in attendance.

Both Rihanna and the aspiring model have had on/off relationships with Chris Brown - who was convicted of assaulting the "We Found Love" singer in 2009 - and have previously had a war of words on Twitter.

Eminem Wins Big at MTV EMAs as Miley Cyrus Causes Controversy

Miley CyrusEminem was among the big winners at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night, while Miley Cyrus caused controversy yet again.

The 41-year-old rapper won the Best Hip Hop and Global Icon prizes at the ceremony at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam - making him the artist with the most EMAs ever - and he celebrated his victory with a surprise performance of "Bezerk" before a scintillating rendition of "Rap God."

Miley ensured she remained in the spotlight by sparking up what appeared to be a joint on-stage and then smoking it with Will Ferrell, who was at the awards as his Anchorman alter-ego Ron Burgundy, before accepting her Best Video prize for "Wrecking Ball." The blonde star told the crowd, "I couldn't fit this award in my bag but I did find this..."

Miley Cyrus Won’t Use Foam Finger in EMA Show

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Awards, Gossip, Performances, Pop,

Miley Cyrus at this year's MTV VMAsMiley Cyrus promises to keep foam fingers out of her MTV European Music Awards performance.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer caused controversy earlier this year when she twerked against Robin Thicke and made suggestive motions with a foam finger - but she has ruled out a repeat when she takes to the stage tomorrow night in Amsterdam.

"God, I don't know [what people will think]. If I only knew. But I can't think of any kind of prop that I would use [to] disrespect and offend. So I think I'm good about that. No Foam Finger Association is going to call me. I made custom [alien costumes], I made my own. No one owns aliens," she told MTV.

The racy star's performance on the night will have a focus on science fiction and outer space because of her love of extraterrestrial beings: "I've had this vision for a while. I've wanted to somehow involve something around aliens - because I really love aliens. Obviously, I really loved teddy bears so I built a whole show around teddy bears ... And I also like aliens, so I built the show around aliens. And when I knew that [ex-LMFAO musician] RedFoo was going to be there, I just felt he was the perfect person to get involved in what I'm all about, which is just having fun on the show, and not doing anything too serious."
