Psy and Madonna perform together

Madonna performed with Psy in New York last night. The "Girl Gone Wild" singer - who is currently on her worldwide MDNA Tour - unveiled the South Korean pop sensation as her special guest at the concert at the city's Madison Square Garden, where they performed a mash-up of her song "Give It To Me" and his cult smash "Gangnam Style." Madonna even performed Psy's "horse" dance - copied by stars including Mel B and Heidi Klum - and at one point crawled between his legs.

The event comes just a week after the 54-year-old star was "rejected" by Lady Gaga when she asked her to sing with her on stage. She told a crowd in Minnesota earlier this month, "I have the best fans in the whole world. So take that, Lady Gaga. You know, I invited her to sing with me on stage but she turned me down. It's OK. I've been rejected before. It's good to build character."

"In Costa Rica tonight for stadium show. Thank you so much to everyone for buying a ticket to the BTWBALL. I will leave my heart on the stage ... Thank you Costa Rica, they told me it was the biggest show and turnout they've ever had. means so much to me. luckiest girl alive. (sic)" she wrote on her Twitter.

Kylie MinogueKylie Minogue feels depressed when she isn't being a pop star.

The "Wow" singer finds it hard to adjust to regular life when she finishes an album and a tour, because creating and performing her music gives her such an adrenaline rush:

"I think it's a little bittersweet. Let me put it this way: There's a middle ground which I'm sure is a better, healthier, more balanced place to be. But instead of that I tend to do 'busy busy busy,' then adrenaline gets you going, and you're firing on all cylinders, and then you have to stop because you get ill, or you catch a cold and you're out for a week. And then all you can do is rest. And then that creates a little depression. It's the classic performer's quandary. That middle ground is hard to find, or settle in."

The 44-year-old singer believes it is the difficulty some artists have with "normal" life which leads them to take drugs or become dependent on alcohol. When asked if boredom leads some musicians to experiment with substances, she answered, "Yes! Exactly."

Green DayGreen Day have postponed the beginning of their 2013 arena tour while Billie Joe Armstrong continues rehab.

The band's frontman went into treatment for substance abuse problems in September when he smashed a guitar and swore multiple times on stage in Las Vegas, and the group have now called off the remainder of their 2012 club dates and pushed back the beginning of next year's tour.

"Obviously, the timing for this isn't ideal, but Billie Joe's well-being is our main concern. We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well, and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received, and we can't wait to see you all again soon," Bassist Mike Dirnt said in a statement released on Monday.

Alice CooperAlice Cooper has slammed young rock bands for becoming "really boring."

The "Hey Stoopid" singer hit out at modern male groups saying they are too sensitive and "afraid" to be themselves, and he has been left particularly unimpressed by their stage shows in contrast to their female counterparts such as Lady Gaga.

Speaking at Q magazine's annual awards this afternoon, he told BANG Showbiz, "The girls seem to be the only ones doing theatrics, the guys have taken a back seat when it comes to that, Lady Gaga and the others just seem to be more creative when it comes to the stage shows. The guys have become boring, really. It just seems like young rock bands are afraid to be young rock bands. There's a lot of thrust missing from rock 'n' roll. I don't know why, everyone's trying to be very sensitive. In the 70s the last thing on our minds was sensitive."

Fleetwood Mac

Fleetwood Mac will embark on their reunion tour in April 2013. The "Rumors" hitmakers - featuring Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks - are planning to begin rehearsals for their first live shows since 2009 in February, and will go out on the road a few months later.

"We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February. So... if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out [on the road] by end of April [or] May, I would think," Stevie said.

The Rolling StonesThe Rolling Stones may headline Glastonbury next year.

The "Brown Sugar" group are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2013 with a series of concerts, and are rumored to be topping the bill at the iconic British festival, one of the largest music events in Europe.

"The band are gearing up for a load of live dates but tend to leave big decisions like this until the last minute. [Organizer] Michael Eavis is desperate to get the band confirmed and has made initial contact with their people. It would be a massive coup to get the band playing Glasto on what could be their last round of live dates. Getting a decision from the whole band can be tough and at the moment they are without an agent for live shows, which is not helping the situation. But there is a good chance 2013 will finally be the year they make it," a source told The Sun.
