Sarah Jessica Parker Calls Matthew Broderick Average

Sarah Jessica Parker has accidentally branded her husband Matthew Broderick as “average.”

The Sex and the City 2 actress - who has seven-year-old James Wilkie and 11-month-old twins Marion and Tabitha with spouse - made the gaffe while discussing how she is relieved that her son is one of the oldest in his class because he is so short.

She told talk show host David Letterman, “James is, for the moment, more on the diminutive side. Some might call it a Napoleon complex, his age gives him some confidence because he is so mature. He’s a brainiac… well I think so, naturally. He’s not quite tiny - that’s on my husband’s side - well, actually Matthew is average…”

The 45-year-old star - who stands 5ft 3in compared with the actor’s 5ft 8in - tried to backtrack on her comments, insisting her husband is only “average in height,” and not any of his other attributes.

“Not average in personality or in intellect…. no, no, no, no, no. Let me clear this up. For the record, not in personality, intellect, charisma, talent, genuine likeability, well the list could go on and on. Anyway he’s average in height as I understand so the odds of our son being average in height and weight is perhaps promising… How am I ever gonna fix this?”

Sarah Jessica Parker’s son misses her mole.

The Sex and the City actress recently had the blemish from her chin removed during some time off. Unfortunately, seven-year-old James Wilkie sometimes pines for it.

“I had a mole removed. I didn’t have strong feelings against it, I didn’t object to it, I just didn’t care for it. So I had six free days where I could be bloodied and scabbed, and no one would care,” she told David Letterman. “I didn’t think a thing about it and then it turns into mole-gate and my son tells me he misses it - I feel like I should’ve consulted more people about it!”

Sarah Jessica Parker has security worthy of a US President on the set of her new movie. The 44-year-old actress began shooting Sex and the City 2 in New York earlier this week, and has been hounded by over-enthusiastic fans keen to get a glimpse of their idol.

“The film’s security team looked more like they were protecting the president than Sarah Jessica Parker,” a source said. “At one point, teenage girls were practically trampling each other trying to get to Sarah Jessica as she was walking back to her trailer, but her security team was shoving everyone out of the way.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Talks About Surrogacy and Her Marriage

For the first time since the twins news was revealed, actress Sarah Jessica Parker is talking about being a mother again. In an interview with Billy Bush, the Sex and the City star also expressed concern for the welfare of the surrogate mother and addressed rumors about her marriage.

Although she’s already a mother to a 6-year-old son, Parker said they turned to surrogacy after exploring other options. “It would be a complicated – it would be odd to have made this choice if I was able to, you know, have successful pregnancies since my son’s birth,” she explained.

Surrogate Expecting Twins for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

There’s nothing like the presence of two little ladies to squelch rumors of a wandering eye.

Despite talk of a possible split last year, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have proven the tabloids wrong. Not only have the two stayed together, they’ve made plans for the future.

According to reps for the two actors, Sarah Jessica and Matthew will soon be parents for the second - and third - time. Fortunately, these upcoming births will have no effect on the Sex and the City sequel. The twin baby girls are both being delivered by a surrogate.

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, will welcome the newborns sometime this summer. The couple already has a 6-year-old son named James Wilkie.
