However the star, who has openly battled an addiction to alcohol, wants her fans and friends to know she appreciates their concern. "I would like to thank all my fans as well as my friends from the Hollywood community for the heartwarming calls and emails about those unfortunate and dramatic pictures. Looking at the pictures I can understand the level of worrying, but I can assure everyone that there is no cause for alarm. I have been on the road working non-stop for such a long time, fulfilling my professional commitments, shooting shows around the world with all the pressure that comes with it," she said.
The 49-year-old actress was pictured over the weekend drinking directly from a bottle of Popov vodka and also from an unlabeled mini bottle. She chain smoked cigarettes and later stumbled to the grass where she appeared to pass out.
"That combined with major health issues in my family drove me to the unfortunate circumstances that you can see on the pictures. At that moment in time, I felt like I needed a moment to myself, in a park. The vodka came about as a desperate move to try to release some pressure and is under no circumstances an indication of how I lead my life on a day to day basis," she said.

Bride-to-be Kim Kardashian says all of her "freak out" moments are over ahead of her wedding today. The reality TV star will marry basketball player Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California, today, and while planning the huge event has been stressful, she has is finally over her nerves about the nuptials.
"I think I had my freak-out moment a week ago. From Kris's dogs in my space to his shirts on the floor to going over budget to everything you could possibly think of. I mean, it's ridiculous issues that I guess everyone goes through. Planning a wedding is so much work. I had no ide," Kim told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.
Kim, 30, also added how much she is looking forward to settling down, and how she knew right away Kris was the right guy for her: "When you know you know. We're having so much fun we just get along so well, he just lets me be me. And we have such a good relationship. It's such a normal, healthy, trusting, easy relationship.

Anti-Snooki Bill Proposed By New Jersey Senator

Finally, a piece of policy that may truly unite both houses. The left and the right can’t agree on health care, budget cuts or foreign policy -- but perhaps they can all collectively agree that no one should be forced to pay to hear Snooki speak.
The Jersey Shore star is the driving force before a new piece of legislation proposed by Senator Joe Kyrillos (R-NJ).
The bill proposes to change the way universities collect fees from students, making paid campus events optional. Kyrillos was prompted to write the bill when Nicole Polizzi (Snooki) earned $32,000 for her appearance at Rutgers University -- $2,000 more than the amount given to Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison (that’s just sad). Snooki’s paycheck came from the funds provided by students, who were obligated to pay a student activity fee.

Khloe Kardashian Can Finally Have Her Honeymoon

While her sister Kourtney is busy with her new baby, Khloe Kardashian is relaxing, taking the opportunity to go on her belated honeymoon.
The socialite - who married Lamar Odom last September - is taking a belated post-wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas now the basketball star’s season is over. The couple plan to fly out from Los Angeles on a private jet and will be staying on a compound belonging to family friend Joe Francis.
“They picked Joe’s place because they knew it would be very private and security would be tight there. They want to spend time alone,” a source said.
However, the couple - who are reportedly set to get their own reality TV show - will spend less than a week alone together as the rest of the socialite’s family are to fly out to join them to record new footage. “They are going to do some taping for the reality shows,” the source added.
Khloe recently splashed out $400,000 on a new car for Lamar to congratulate him on his team the Los Angeles Lakers winning the NBA championships. Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner revealed, “It’s a brand new 2010 Rolls Royce… drop-top coupe, white on white. It was a Lakers championship present. Fabulous!”
John McCain Cares About Snooki’s Tanning Bed

When Snooki speaks, politicians apparently listen. The Jersey Shore star recently lamented about the 10 percent sales tax President Obama placed on her precious tanning beds, and who was there in an instant to offer a shoulder to cry on? John McCain.
“U r right, I would never tax your tanning bed! Pres Obama’s tax/spend policy is quite The Situation. but I do rec wearing sunscreen!” the senator posted on his Twitter page.
I don’t know what’s most shocking: the fact that John McCain uses Twitter, the fact that he watches Jersey Shore, or the fact that his Twitter post doesn’t seem to resemble a statement from a 73 year-old senator.

Heidi Montag Files For Legal Separation

It’s looking a lot less like a hoax: Heidi Montag is filing for legal separation from Spencer Pratt.
The reality star has been spotted entering the Santa Monica Courthouse in California with papers in her hand earlier today. “It’s a legal separation. It’s all Heidi can do until a lawyer gets 100 per cent involved,” a source revealed.
Onlookers claim 23-year-old Heidi looked serious as she entered the courthouse and was without her usual makeup and hairstyling. In legal papers seen by TMZ, Heidi claims “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation.
The actress-and-singer initially went to the Malibu Courthouse to file the papers, but was told they did not deal with family cases and she would have to go to Santa Monica. Heidi recently revealed she was planning to have the “best summer” following her split from 26-year-old Pratt - who she married in a secret ceremony 14 months ago.
Writing on her Twitter page she said, “Laying out in the hot sun! Enjoying the beach. This is going to be the best summer of my life!!!!!!(sic)”
