Nicole Richie Wants a Stable Home for Kids

Nicole Richie wants her children to have "stability."
The 30-year-old designer spent a lot of time on the road with her father Lionel Richie when she was growing up but wants Harlow, four, and three-year-old Sparrow - her kids with rocker husband Joel Madden - to spend most of their time at home.
"One of the biggest differences in the way I'm raising my kids versus the way I was raised is that I was on tour a lot. I don't really do that with my kids. It's important to me that they have stability. I like them to be home," she said.
However, Nicole - who has previously battled drug addiction - insists there was nothing "wrong" with the way she was raised by Lionel and her mother Brenda. "I was taken out of school and had tutors. By the time my father went onstage, I was asleep. There's no right or wrong way to raise a family. Look, I don't know anyone who can say they don't just try and do the best that they can do," she added.

Joel Madden Wants to Move to Australia

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are to emigrate to Australia.
The Good Charlotte is currently Down Under with his wife and their two children, Harlow, four, and two-year-old Sparrow, while he films the Australian version of The Voice and he is so taken with the country, he wants to make the move permanent.
"It's like home away from home. I would love citizenship, I've always talked about it. It's my favorite country in the world. We love it here, our kids love it here. Also, people are kind of getting used to us being here which is cool because it's a little bit more like a neighbor," he said.
The couple are said to have been looking at schools in the Sydney area to send Harlow and Sparrow to if they do decide to move. Fashion designer Nicole recently said she had fallen in love with Australia and wanted to spend more time in Sydney: "We're going to be out here for a while, both of us love it. Sydney is my favorite city, we're definitely going to be looking to spend more time here, what's not to love!"
Joel Madden Made 10 Proposals to Nicole

Joel Madden asked Nicole Richie to marry him 10 times before she said yes. The Good Charlotte rocker has confessed his wife repeatedly spurned his proposals before finally agreeing to the knot with him in February 2010.
"My wife is pretty good at rejecting me. People don't know this but I asked her to marry me ten times before she actually said yes. I was asking every other Tuesday," he revealed in an interview during an appearance on an Australian radio show.
"What made that tenth one different? How did she break? What did you bring out that was different?" the radio host asked.
"I pulled out the kids! I said, 'Do you really wanna do this to these kids?' I'm just kidding. I'm passive aggressive," he answered.
The 33-year-old musician has two children, daughter Harlow, four, and two-year-old Sparrow, with Nicole, 30. Joel was recently announced as one of the four coaches on the Australian version of pop star search TV show The Voice.

Nicole Richie is "not ready" to have another child. The fashion designer hasn't ruled out having more kids with husband Joel Madden but says they are currently too busy with work and raising daughter Harlow, four, and son Sparrow, two.
"I'm not ready for baby number three - it's not something I'm discussing with Joel at the moment, but maybe we'll have another child sometime in the future. It's a full-time job taking care of two children but they mean everything to me. It's hard to balance being a full-time mum and having a career, but somehow you manage."

Nicole Richie Planning Christmas Wedding?

Sources report that Nicole Richie is planning to have her wedding in December, though her bachelorette party was held last weekend. According to rumors, Nicole is currently dress shopping and is thinking about holding the wedding at her dad Lionel Richie’s estate in Los Angeles.
Nicole Richie has two children with longtime boyfriend Joel Madden, and wedding rumors have been ringing for the reality starlet since the first pregnancy.
Will she actually follow through with the nuptials this time? Reps for Richie haven’t confirmed or denied the current wedding rumors.

Nicole Richie: The reality star and her rocker boyfriend, Joel Madden, kicked off 9-9-09 in the delivery room. The parents of daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden added a baby boy to the family. Sparrow James Midnight Madden arrived early in the morning and weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. His big sis will turn two years old this January.

Nicole Richie Goes Into Labor

Sources confirm that Nicole Richie has been admitted to a hospital to give birth to her second child.
The baby will be her and Joel Madden‘s second child—their first, Harlow, was born in January 2008.
While reps for both of the celebs have yet to officially comment, I doubt we’ll be hearing it any minute now.

Just last month, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden celebrated their daughter’s very first birthday. (Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on January 11.) Now the parents are preparing for their latest addition.
Late yesterday, the 29-year-old Good Charlotte musician announced the happy news through his band’s website:

Richie, 27, and Madden have been together since late 2006. Although the two have talked about marriage, no wedding date has ever been announced.

Two years ago, photos of a terribly emaciated Nicole Richie in a bikini traveled all over the Internet. The skinny star was ridiculed and reported upon for her bony, unhealthy appearance, very public friendship falling out and seemingly out-of-control ways.

If I was going to adopt, it would probably be from there.”

Paris Hilton is now dating Benji Madden (truly, a tragic name), and has been for about three weeks. According to one source, the two are really hitting it off. This works out perfectly, as Nicole Richie is preparing to wed his twin brother, Joel Madden.
I smell a new idea for a reality show in the works…
