Matthew Morrison and Cameron Diaz?

Everyone’s favorite Glee club teacher Matthew Morrison and A-list Hollywood hottie Cameron Diaz were seen leaving LA’s Bardot together over the weekend, and everyone’s wondering the same thing: are they a couple?

Morrison was cornered by the press at a recent Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute, and he says that he and the movie star are “just friends.” Hmmm.

But Diaz isn’t the only gorgeous blonde the actor has been palling around with recently.

“Dare I say I have a crush on Gwyneth Paltrow?” he asked reporters. “She’s not like a movie star, she’s just like a normal person. She was so awesome to work with. She’s so talented.”

Morrison also said that Gwyneth sings “like three numbers or something” in her upcoming Glee episode, which airs in November.

Glee Girls Strip Down for GQ Cover

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television,

Cory Monteith is liking his job more all the time.

He’ll be grinning on the newest issue of GQ, standing in the middle of a Quinn Fabray-Rachel Berry sandwich. Dianna Agron and Lea Michele posed alongside their Glee co-star for the cover shot, exposing just enough skin to keep things interesting.

Lea Michele noticeably lost weight over the summer, and doesn’t seem at all shy about showing off her new bod. Her physique isn’t the only thing she’s proud of. “I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get [a nose job]. And if anybody needed it, I probably did,” she says in the magazine. “But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t,” she explained. “I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”

Romance Trouble for Glee Costars

Mark Salling and Naya Rivera

While many believe an off-screen romance for Glee‘s Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz is currently brewing, it appears a real-life relationship between Mark Salling and Naya Rivera may have come to an end.

According to sources, Naya, who plays cheerleader Santana on the show, may have keyed and egged Mark’s car in a fit of jealous rage. Seems Rivera wasn’t happy hearing about her costar with other women, even though she and Salling were never an exclusive couple. (Or, at least, he didn’t consider them to be so.)

“When Naya found out, she and some pals trashed his Lexus,” a source told Us Weekly.

Glee Going Broadway?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television,

Like the rest of the world, 20th Century Fox has fallen in love with co-creator and writer Ryan Murphy. The studio has given Murphy a four-year contract, and he’ll be doing more than creating new episodes of Glee and raking in TV ratings for the duration. The contract also includes an option to create a Broadway show based upon the series, and offers are flying at him from every direction.

Amy Pascal, of Sony, says she’ll “do anything Ryan wants” in order to get the show going. Gossip says that Murphy is also in consideration to direct a film version of Wicked, the successful Broadway play which was adapted from the book.

Glee took the world by storm when it premiered on FOX last year, sparking several top-selling albums and massive fan culture.

VIDEO: Glee’s Heather Morris and Her Beyonce Connection

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Music, Television, Videos,

While I am truly a fan of , I am apparently not worthy “Gleek” status. In order to earn such a title, I probably should have been aware of this particular factoid by now.

In order to spare other supposed Gleeks of any possible embarrassment, I share with you the little gem I learned today.

Before her time on the series, scene stealer (a.k.a. Brittany) danced with none other than Beyonce. In fact, she was doing the “Single Ladies” dance long before she did it with Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) on the show.

After watching her perform with Ms. Knowles above, you can watch Morris in the Glee clip after the jump. You can also see her dance with some young girls as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Jane Lynch Weighs in on Newsweek Article

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television,

Jane LynchThe aftermath of the infamous Newsweek article is still ongoing, and now Glee’s has come forward with a statement. Lynch is best-known to Gleeks as wisecracking, no-nonsense Sue Sylvester, New Directions nemesis and Cheerios coach. The actress who plays Sylvester, Jane Lynch, is an openly gay performer, making her one of the targets of the Newsweek article which alleged that homosexual actors are unable to play straight roles.

The article, “Straight Jacket,” was written by Ramin Setoodeh, who has since been by show creator Ryan Murphy. “I do think what Kristin [Chenoweth] and Ryan [Murphy] did was so important, and I’m glad that they said it,” Lynch said of her co-workers, both of whom came forward to deliver scathing statements after “Straight Jacket” was published. “I don’t think you have to slap somebody down for making an opinion that you don’t agree with,” Lynch said.

The Glee, Newsweek Summit is On

Glee Single Ladies Football Players Dance

The is well on its way to being resolved peacefully - and without any media back-and-forth bickering. Recently, writer Ramin Setoodeh wrote a controversial article regarding homosexual actors and actresses. In it, he named new Glee cast member Jonathan Groff and made quite a few remarks about the actor’s inability to play a straight love interest to actress Lea Michele.

co-creator Ryan Murphy fired back after the article was published, demanding a boycott of the entire magazine. In a (considerably lengthy) statement to Setoodeh, and by extension the world, Murphy extended “an open invitation to Mr. Setoodeh to come to the writers room of our show, and perhaps pay a set visit. Hopefully then he can see how we take care to do a show about inclusiveness…a show that encourages all viewers no matter what their sexual orientation to go after their hopes and dreams…”

In response, Ramin Setoodeh has accepted the offer. This oughtta be good.
