Kim Kardashian: Similarities Are Important

Kanye West and Kim KardashianKim Kardashian thinks that similarities are "essential" in relationships.

The reality TV star loves the fact she and boyfriend Kanye West have a shared passion for fashion because it means they can have "in-depth" discussions about their careers, and she thinks common interests will be increasingly more important as they get older.

"If I have a design meeting, or he has one, we come back and talk about how our meetings went. It's cool, because you can definitely get more in-depth with someone who actually knows what you're talking about ... So that's been a fun similarity we have. I think it's essential to have similarities. When this whole life is done, and it's just the two of us sitting somewhere when we're 80, you want to have things to talk about that you have in common. I think that's something maybe I didn't value as highly as a quality I cared about in someone."

Benedict Cumberbatch Wants to Move to America

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Television,

Benedict CumberbatchBenedict Cumberbatch is thinking of moving from Great Britain to live in America.

The 36-year-old actor - who was educated at the top private school Harrow - says he is sick of attacks on his privileged background. The Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy star, whose parents were actors, said that "all the posh-bashing that goes on" made him consider moving to the United States.

"I wasn't born into land or titles, or new money, or an oil rig," he said. But Benedict said that he had been "castigated as a moaning, rich, public-school bastard, complaining about only getting posh roles." He continued, "It's just so predictable ... so domestic, and so dumb... It makes me think I want to go to America."

The star - who is to play an Edwardian aristocrat in BBC1 period drama Parade's End, said he enjoyed becoming a pin-up after Sherlock. "It puts a bit of a spring in your step. It's nice, you swagger a little bit, it's enjoyable. I've punched well above my weight this year. And that remains very much a secret ... I find it hysterically funny ... It's a giggle. I wield it with a massive smile," he admitted.

Mel Gibson: Hollywood Won’t Forgive Me

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Rants, Where Are They Now?,

Mel GibsonMel Gibson doesn't think Hollywood is ready to forgive him for a number of controversial incidents that have occurred in the last few years.

The 56-year-old actor was caught in an expletive and racist tirade against his child's mother, Oksana Grigorieva, in audio tapes released to the public. He was again caught on tape laying into Maccabees screenwriter Joe Eszterhas calling him a "f**king ****" among other things, and last month his step-mother filed for a restraining order against the actor citing he spat in her face.

"They have to forget. I don't even think they're vindictive. I don't think they think there's reason to forgive. And forgive what to begin with? What are they asking for? It's almost like can you please forgive me for what? What did I do, really? It is kind of ridiculous," he said.

Clive Owen Hates Being Famous

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Features,

Clive OwenClive Owen hates being famous. The 47-year-old actor insists he didn't get into Hollywood for the fame and admits it was difficult to adjust to his newfound celebrity status when he first rose to notoriety in 1990 with ITV drama Chancer.

"I never wanted to be a movie star. And I didn't become an actor to become famous. I genuinely didn't. It was always theatre for me. Chancer was a baptism of fire. It's very weird to go from obscurity to suddenly being in newspapers. When somebody is hot, everyone wants a piece of it. If you explode onto the scene at a very young age, there are so many people pulling you in different directions. It takes time to recalibrate and see what's important."

The down-to-earth Closer star - who has worked with an impressive list of A-list leading ladies including Keira Knightley, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman - maintains that he doesn't get star-struck by famous actors, only his sporting heroes: "I never think of meeting actors. I think of the times I've met footballers."

Rosario Dawson Will Quit Her Career For a Family

Rosario DawsonRosario Dawson will give up acting when she has children.

The Fire with Fire star - who is in a relationship with 55-year-old director Danny Boyle - wants to focus on "making the world a better place" when she eventually settles down to start a family.

"I won't be able to act anymore. I'll just be focused on trying to make the world a better place for my baby," she said.

The 33-year-old actress has also admitted she used to go to school in her pajamas and confesses her casual style hasn't evolved much since those days. "I didn't brush my hair; I wore platform flip-flops and Converse because I had a height complex. I would roll in wearing my pajamas, just in the nick of time before class started. And that's still me," she told Latina.

Rosario's relationship with Danny was revealed earlier this month, with the actress - who met the filmmaker on the set of his latest film Trance - even in attendance at the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, which the director masterminded.

Jeremy Renner is Lonely

Jeremy Renner at 'The Bourne Legacy' premiereJeremy Renner is "lonely."

The Bourne Legacy star is thrilled by his career success, but admits it is tough being away from home for so long and having no one to share his great experiences with.

"I've only made it home two weeks in two years. I've been so lucky - I've got to travel to parts of the planet I'd never even heard of. It's been like the blinders coming off. It's lonely. I'm doing the most amazing things and couldn't be happier, but I have no one to share with outside of a director or someone I've just met. So now I'm back in LA after two years and I've just seen my brother and I'm like, 'Where do I begin?'"

Jeremy is now planning to take a break to catch up with his loved ones and relax: "Being focused on my career is important to me. But I'm not so career-orientated I can't balance things. I've purposely put my head in a hole and told my agent I need a break. I'll catch up on some movies, do a bit of reading, mend some friendships, see family and friends I haven't seen and slowly integrate back into real life."

Jessica ChastainJessica Chastain wishes she had time for a personal life.

The Lawless actress is currently single but is filming a movie and working on a play in New York for the next few months so is hoping to find the time to focus more on herself rather than work while she is in one place for an extended amount of time,

"I'm happy and fulfilled. I do wish I had more time for a personal life and I'm going to try to create that in New York. I'm filming The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby there and the a play so I'll be in once place for a long time," she told InStyle.

However, Jessica won't be looking for love on set, as she has no intention of dating a fellow actor: "I have a rule not to date actors and because of that I can hopefully make work be the focus of public interest instead of my private life."

The flame haired beauty has been feted for her looks along with her acting talent but admits she was bullied over her hair when she was young. "I got teased quite a lot when I was younger but I've grown into my red hair now and see it as something that makes me unique and special," she explained.

Jeremy Renner Puts His Career First

Jeremy RennerJeremy Renner is "married" to his career.

The 41-year-old actor is currently single and has never married and says he made a decision to put work first in his life after seeing many of his family - including his parents, who separated when he was 10 years old - go through divorces.

"I come from a large, large family with many divorces so I chose not to go down that route straight away. Instead I essentially got married to my career," he said.

Just as he made a decision about marriage early on in his life, The Bourne Legacy star accepted his unconventional looks from a young age as he was always taught to think himself "beautiful." In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, he said, "Aren't we taught as kids that we're beautiful because we feel beautiful and not because someone else says so? You don't look like the model on the magazine cover but you can still be beautiful, so I can't say I really want to change anything. I'm happy with the flaws I have."

Alec Baldwin: Kim and I Worked Too Hard

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Divorce, Features,

Kim Basinger and Alec BaldwinAlec Baldwin admits his career had a negative effect on his marriage to Kim Basinger.

The 30 Rock star recently tied the knot with yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas and is hopeful their relationship will be more "normal" than his disastrous union with the Charlie St Cloud actress - whom he split from in 2000 after seven years of marriage - because their busy work lives meant they got their priorities wrong.

"I want it to be different. When I was younger, I was married to a woman who was very successful. When you're both in the business, you both know that you're going to light one film off the other. It's like chain smoking. You just have to do one after the other. You sense that this isn't right, you have this daunting, overwhelming, overarching priority that takes you away for long periods at a time. Now I'm with someone who's not in the business and I would like to have a different life this time, have it be more normal."
