World of Warcraft nerds can rejoice: Mila Kunis is back on the market.
Kunis and her former child actor boyfriend Macaulay Culkin have called it quits after 8 years together. The split, according to her rep, was amicable, and the pair are still friends (isn't that what they always say?).
The couple met when she was just a teenager on That 70s Show: "We grew up together. You find a steady rock in your life and that’s all you need. We have our ups and downs, but work through them," she told People in a 2009 interview.
No word yet from Culkin's rep.
Is it just me, or does it seem like every celebrity couple has broken up in the past year?

John Mellancamp Separates from Wife

John Mellencamp and his longtime wife are ringing in the new year with a separation.
The married couple of 18 years confirmed the news through their joint rep.
"John and Elaine Mellencamp are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family. They will continue to raise their two children in Indiana but have decided to call it a day as a couple."
The 59-year-old singer first met the supermodel when she was chosen to pose for the cover of Whenever We Wanted, his 1991 album. She became his third wife in 1992.
Elaine, 41, can currently be seen as the face of Almay Cosmetics.

People's 'Sexiest Man Alive' might need to change his title to 'Most Eligible Bachelor.'
Just over two years after their wedding in Canada, Green Lantern's Ryan Reynolds and Iron Man 2's Scarlett Johansson, have called it quits. The actors who were rarely seen together -- try finding pictures of them -- confirmed the news today in a joint statement:
"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

What could possibly be more awkward than marrying the woman who plays your sister on screen? How about divorcing the woman who plays your sister on screen?
After almost two years of marriage, Dexter costars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are divorcing. According to a statement, the actors -- who have starred opposite each other for five seasons -- have "been separated for some time."
Although reps for both Michael and Jennifer told EW that the split was amicable, a source told Access Hollywood it was widely known around the set that the two were having problems. TMZ adds that it was Carpenter who was filing to end the marriage.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Split Up

Attention all you cougars out there (I’m talking you, recently-separated Elizabeth Hurley) – Zac Efron is now a single man.
It’s just been announced that the 23-year-old actor and his High School (Musical) sweetheart, Vanessa Hudgens, have broken up. They’d been together since 2006.
According to an insider, the split had nothing to do with another person. "They were together for so long. It just ran its course."
"They are 100 percent still good friends," a People source added.
This news comes just one day before Hudgen’s birthday. She turns 22 tomorrow.

Who knew Miley Cyrus' "Nothing to Lose" duet would be the least controversial Bret Michaels-related story her family would have to address?
According to Us Weekly, Billy Ray Cyrus' impending divorce from Tish Cyrus may have had something to do with a third party. Sources claim Tish, 43, actually had an affair with the 47-year-old rocker.
Michaels reportedly "became close to the entire family" when he started working with the teen star earlier this year. At one point, he asked Tish and her production company for help in bringing Roses & Thorns, his book, to the big screen.
"It was a professional relationship that turned into something more," an insider claimed. "Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on."
Reps for both Bret and Tish deny the accusations.

Courteney Cox Speaks

“This is not like we’re getting divorced,” actress Courteney Cox explained in a recent interview. “This is a separation.” The interview with TV Week is the first time Cox has spoken publicly about her martial troubles with husband David Arquette, who came forward to speak to the press almost immediately after the news first broke.
“I don’t know what will happen,” Cox said. “What is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.”
In the interview, Cox says that she and husband David grew apart some time in the course of their 11-year marriage.
She also gracefully responded to her husband’s interview with Howard Stern, which many people felt sounded insensitive. “It’s not shocking and Howard Stern, he loves him, and I’m a fan of Howard Stern,” she said. “David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories.”
While David Arquette has faced the separation in a more public fashion, Cox has been getting support from a former Friends costar, telling Australia’s TV Week, “Jennifer [Aniston] has been amazing for sure.”

After three years together as an off-sceen couple, actors Blake Lively and Penn Badgley have called it quits. A rep for the Gossip Girl costars confirmed the split.
Despite the breakup, the pair have vowed to stay friends. "They're professionals. They're still good friends and hang out on the set," a source told Us Weekly.
News of their separation is said to have shocked their coworkers. "They kept this news to themselves for a while. "Nobody on set had any idea. They're really just private," the insider said.
