Miley Cyrus has opened up about fiance Liam Hemsworth's romantic spontaneous proposal. The 19-year-old "Can't Be Tamed" singer - who got engaged to the 22-year-old The Hunger Games actor last June - revealed he popped the question after she treated him to an intimate performance of one of his favorite songs "Look What They've Done To My Song" by Melanie Safka in their backyard.
"About twenty minutes after that song - that's one of Liam's favorite songs - he asked me to marry him, like, twenty minutes later so while I was singing that I had no idea and he's sitting there and I'm like he's looking at me funny and then I know," she told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

Sofia Vergara never planned to get married again.
The Modern Family actress - who recently became engaged to business Nick Loeb - admits she did not want to wed again after her split from childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez nearly two decades ago, but thinks it is "perfect" timing.
Sofia - who has 20-year-old son Manolo from her relationship with Joe - said, "I never really planned on getting married again. I had my son and it just wasn't a priority. But I love being in love, and I'm very happy right now. It's perfect."
Sofia, 40, is particularly close to Manolo because of all the time they have spent together, but now he is in college in Boston he is less likely to see him because it is too "cold" in Massachusetts: "We're very close because I got divorced when he was just one, so it's been the two of us. I divide my time between New York and Los Angeles, but I used to always say home is where my son is. But he's now in college in Boston and my home is definitely not Boston - it's too cold!"

Cory Monteith has lost 20lbs thanks to his girlfriend. The Glee actor dropped the weight he gained earlier this year thanks to some encouraging words of advice from his co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele.
"When he brought Lea home to meet his family they were making fun of him in front of her. She's tell him she loves him no matter what but it was bothering him and he did something about it. She's vegan and eats organic and she totally changed his eating habits. He's exercising too. He loves the way he looks now," a source told In Touch.
Cory recently cited cutting down on chocolate and more exercise as the key to his weight loss. "I'm doing CrossFit and I'm eating fewer Snickers bars," he explained.
Cory also has a positive effect on Lea, and friends say they've noticed she is happier since she's been with him. "Cory is definitely having a positive effect on Lea. She's much less miserable these days," a source said.

Taryn Manning Arrested for Assault

First the Lohans, now this -- there must be in New York City's drinking water.
Singer-actress Taryn Manning was arrested and charged Thursday morning for a fight with her makeup artist and longtime friend, Holly Hartman. Manning allegedly punched and kicked Hartman in the early Thursday hours at the Dream Downtown Hotel in the city's Chelsea neighborhood.
Manning's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, played down the altercation, calling it a "minor physical incident." Tacopina told People, "They'd been together every waking minute and they got on each other's nerves and had a little incident. It was a minor physical incident." He also added that Hartman won't be pressing charges.
Manning was released on bail yesterday, leaving the District Attorney to decide whether or not to drop the charges.

Hulk Hogan's sex tape was reportedly leaked by an unhappy ex-employee of his best friend Bubba the Love Sponge.
The TNA IMPACT Wrestling star has been left devastated after X-rated footage of him and Heather Clem - the estranged wife of Bubba - surfaced online, and it has now been claimed an unpaid former Sirius XM Radio staff member working with the grappler's close pal was responsible for the release of the tape.
While working at the radio station, Bubba is said to have shared the sex tape with his "outraged" former employee, who is now thought to have released it as "payback" for Bubba quitting his job as a host at the station in December 2010 to return to terrestrial radio. A source told RadarOnline.com, "Even though Bubba knew how much the Hulk sex tape would be worth, he didn't stab his friend in the back and he's not the one who released it. It's a former employee of Bubba's who was outraged when he left Sirius to go back to terrestrial radio. He wanted payback."

Lindsay Lohan’s Fight with Dina Prompts Police Response

Another week, another police-related Lindsay Lohan incident. Thankfully for the child star-turned-tabloid queen, she was neither arrested nor accused of a crime -- she is, however, treading criminal waters of the domestic kind.
Police were called to Lohan's childhood home in Mineola, New York on early Wednesday morning due to an altercation she was having with her mother, Dina Lohan.
"At 8:06 a.m. [police] got a call for a domestic disturbance. There had been some sort of verbal dispute between Lindsay and her mother that took place in a limo that was coming from New York City... There were no arrests, no police action. It just goes down as a domestic incident. That is that – we don't have any [injuries or damage]," a spokesperson for the Nassau County Police Department said.

Nick Cannon "wasn't concerned" Nicki Minaj would be a threat to his wife Mariah Carey's safety after their American Idol argument.
The two went head-to-head on the judging panel of the show last week, with Nicki at one point threatening to shoot the "Hero" singer and filming having to be called off, but Nick claims he was not "worried" about what was said and believes it made "good news" for the series.
"I wasn't concerned. That's exactly what you called it - drama. With drama, it's theatrics. I'm not worried about that stuff. I wasn't there. It made for good news. It sounded good, right? Good job, Fox!" he told E! News.
Mariah was supposedly so nervous about what Nicki said - at one point calling for her head to be cut off - she beefed up her security detail. However, a friend of Mariah's said she would not let the "Starships" hitmaker ruin her time on American Idol because she has dealt with "far worse" in her long career: "She's not going to let this faze her now - the outbursts won't faze her. She'll handle [it] with poise and grace. Mariah has dealt with far worse in her career."

Chris Brown has turned to reality TV star Drita D'Avanzo to help him sort out his love life.
The "Yeah 3X" singer - who dumped his girlfriend of more than one year Karrueche Tran last week because of his "friendship" with his former flame Rihanna and admitted he is in love with both girls - has found an unlikely confidante in Mob Wives star Drita.
The reality star told the New York Post's Page Six ,"We don't talk every day." But she said she could relate to Chris because she has been in similar situations in the past. She said, "I have been in relationships that were rocky," but declined to comment further on any specific discussions she's had with the singer.
Chris is said to have sought Drita's advice about his high profile love triangle but she would only confirm they are friends, saying she first met the 23-year-old R&B singer last August at New York nightclub W.I.P. on the same night he was involved in a bottle-throwing fight with Drake's entourage.

Olivia Wilde has taken her romance with Jason Sudeikis to the next level. The 28-year-old Butter actress - who plays a stripper called Brooke in the satirical comedy movie - has moved in with her comedian actor boyfriend of nine months.
"They are living together now," and are "totally inseparable," a source told Us Weekly.
The blissfully happy couple are said to be joined at the hip but are in no rush to wed, as they have both been married before. Saturday Night Live star Jason was previously married to actress and 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010. Olivia divorced her husband of eight years Italian American filmmaker and musician Tao Ruspoli in September 2011.
"They've both been married, so they've already experienced that and know what it entails. It's something for down the road," the source added.
