Like father, like daughter: Lady Gaga inherited her wild streak from her father. The "Edge of Glory" hitmaker - who famously dressed in a gown made of meat and once hatched out of an egg live on stage - explained her dad Joe hired a stripper to teach her the piano and used to enjoy al fresco romps with random women.
"He was having sex with girls under the boardwalk in New Jersey before he went to see Bruce Springsteen. He saw a lot of himself in me. My first piano teacher was a stripper. My dad told me later. I used to say to her, 'Why do you have such long nails?' She just said, 'Someday you'll understand why.'"
However, the 25-year-old singer credits her father with "kicking her ass" and helping her to stop using cocaine. "I was for sure addicted to coke. I got off it because my father called me out and kicked my ass. I didn't do it with people, I did it alone. But I regret every line I did," she said.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers Hospitalized After Suicide Attempt

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Drugs, Drunk, Meltdowns,
Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized after a suspected suicide attempt on Tuesday.
The Tudors star - who has been in rehab five times for alcohol problems - refused treatment by paramedics for more than 30 minutes, meaning they were forced to call police and he was eventually taken away by ambulance to a facility near his home in Maida Vale, north London.
"This is very sad. It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life," a source said.
Worried neighbors saw the 33-year-old actor - who was believed to have overdosed on unspecified pills - rushed to hospital. "I saw the ambulance arriving and was worried to death. Jonathan is a lovely guy. You see him all the time in the street. He says hello and is very pleasant. I hope he is fine," one onlooker said.

Jeff Conaway, 60, died Friday after being taken off of life support. The actor, whose credits include the movie Grease, was in a coma for most of the month.
Older generations remember him as the funny, cocky Bobby Wheeler on Taxi. More recently he appeared on the first and second seasons of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, where he was shockingly incoherent and physically weak. But he’s probably best remembered for being Kenickie, main sidekick to John Travolta’s Danny Zukco in Grease.
Travolta released a statement shortly after Conaway’s death was made official: "Jeff Conaway was a wonderful and decent man, and we will miss him. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this very difficult time."

Lindsay Lohan Goes Clubbing, Tells Fans She Has a Stalker

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Movies, Music, Child Stars, Drugs, Drunk, Rumors, Where Are They Now?,
Time to start worrying again? RadarOnline is reporting that Lindsay Lohan was involved in a bit of a bruhaha at a Hollywood club over the weekend while she was (allegedly) partying with friends.
Around 2 am LA time, a fellow clubgoer tried to take a picture of Lindsay. Someone who was with the actress grabbed the camera (a Nikon) and threw into in a bucket of ice water.
The camera belonged to a witness in a group of four who sat at a table next to Lohan’s for an hour. “We figured out when we got home that the camera was broken because water seeped in. The memory card, though, was still good,” said the witness, who does not wish to be identified.
He described the actress as “belligerently drunk,” and said “She looked like she was falling all over the place.”

Britney Spears Dancers Ordered Not to Give Her Drugs, Alcohol

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Music, Child Stars, Drugs, Drunk, Legal Issues,
While Britney Spears may have finally made her true comeback, a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) handed out to her dancers proves that the Princess of Pop is still not in control of her own life.
In the document, a dancer "acknowledges that it is essential that [Britney] not be exposed to any alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances." The NDA goes on to read that dancers could face random drug tests; if they fail or refuse to take them, they risk losing their job.
Partying sober with Britney Spears? Talk about a paradox!
She may be 29 years-old, but her management finds it necessary to treat her like a 9 year-old; even Miley Cyrus gets more freedom than Britney.

Alec Baldwin to Charlie Sheen: Beg For Your Job Back

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Television, Drugs, Meltdowns,
Alec Baldwin has now thrown his hat into Sheen's Korner, offering some advice to the former Two and a Half Men star.
In an online article, Baldwin cites his past experiences with executives as warrants to essentially throw in the towel in some instances and give up.
"You can't win. Really. You can't. When executives at studios and networks move up to the highest ranks, they are given a book. The book is called How to Handle Actors. And one principle held dear in that book is that no actor is greater than the show itself when the show is a hit."
He goes on to point out to Sheen that his recent image (i.e. porn stars, substance abuse, tiger blood abuse, joining Twitter) cemented producers' plans to kick him off the show. Baldwin's sage advice? Gravel at their feet.
