Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino ‘Doing Drugs for Years’

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was allegedly doing drugs "for years."
The Jersey Shore star recently checked into an undisclosed facility for "much needed rest and recuperation" and despite his management insisting he wasn't receiving treatment for substance abuse, his former co-star Angelina Pivarnik claims he's had a long-running history with drugs.
"I don't understand how nobody caught on to him doing a mass amount of drugs! Obviously he's been using the money not for charity, and stuff like that to help kids out, to help people that are less fortunate, but using blow," she said.
Angelina says Mike should have got help for his addictions years ago and thinks he needs to spend a long time in rehab: "He's hideous! He's Popeye on crack. He deserves to freakin' stay in rehab for the next 10 years! Please stay in the rehab and don't come out! I can't believe he didn't go to rehab three years ago."

Brooke Mueller Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Possession

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Television, Drugs, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Brooke Mueller has pleaded guilty to cocaine possession.
The reality TV star appeared in a court room in Aspen, Colorado, today after being arrested last December for possession of a class-A drug as well as assault for allegedly hitting another woman in a nightclub.
Although the assault charges were dropped because there wasn't enough evidence, Brooke pleaded guilty to cocaine possession, according to RadarOnline.com. Under the terms of her plea deal, Brooke - who was recently released from rehab after completing 90 days treatment for drug addiction - must continue her outpatient drug treatment, and if she completes all terms of her probation, the possession charge will be dismissed in a year.
Brooke is determined to stay clean for the sake of her sons. "She's serious about staying clean, she's now living with a sober living companion, and going to Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings. She is hopeful that her recovery from drugs and alcohol will be sustained and lifelong. The only thing she is taking is vitamins. The main focus in Brooke's life right now is being the best mom possible to Bob and Max and staying sober," said a source.

Lindsay Lohan Will Stay at Home Until End of Probation

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Drugs, Drunk, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly put herself under house arrest.
The actress is two weeks from the end of her probation period - which is connected to her 2007 arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) - and has made the decision to stay at home until it is over, so there is absolutely no chance she can get into any trouble, according to TMZ.com.
The news comes after the Mean Girls actress was accused of hitting the manager of a Hollywood nightclub with her black Porsche last Thursday, a claim she strongly denied.
After the incident friends are said to have begged the 25-year-old star to stay at home until March 29, when her probation is due to end. Until that time Lindsay - who has been in jail and rehab on several occasions since the start of her legal troubles five years ago - has now agreed only to leave home to complete community service at the Los Angeles County morgue.

Michael Madsen Won’t Face Child Cruelty Charges

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Movies, Drugs, Legal Issues, Meltdowns, Rumors,
Michael Madsen will not face charges of child cruelty following a row with his son last Friday.
The Reservoir Dogs actor was arrested by officers at his Malibu home on felony charges of child endangerment with cruelty to a child, but after posting $100,000 bail on Saturday he was released.
Now, prosecutors have confirmed to E! News there is insufficient evidence to take the case any further. It is believed a family member called emergency services to the mansion Michael shares with wife Deanna and their three sons Hudson, 17, Calvin, 15, and seven-year-old Luke, though it is unclear which of the actor's children was involved in the fracas.
"He found his son smoking pot and they got into an argument when he tried to take it away. It's a family matter and Michael asks that his family's privacy be respected," his lawyer Perry Wander said.
Speaking about the incident after leaving police custody last week he said it was just a "big misunderstanding."

Brooke Mueller’s Assault Charge ‘to be Dismissed’

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: D-List, Drugs, Legal Issues, Rumors,
Brooke Mueller's assault charge is "likely to be dismissed."
The 34-year-old star - who has two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max with ex-husband Charlie Sheen - was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, last December for the alleged assault of Llana Little and possession of cocaine.
However, while she will still face a judge in several weeks under the drugs charges, the battery case looks likely to be thrown out of court due to lack of evidence.
"The assault charge will likely be dismissed because the evidence just doesn't prove that Brooke touched Llana Little. The women exchanged heated words, but Brooke is absolutely adamant that she didn't lay a finger on Llana and the district attorney is inclined at this point to recommend the charge be dismissed. This doesn't mean that Brooke is totally off the hook though. She will plead no contest to a misdemeanor cocaine possession charge and she will likely be sentenced to community service and ordered to pay a fine. She won't do any jail time though because she is considered a first time offender and this is the sentence that anyone in a similar situation would face," a source told RadarOnline.com.

Gerard Butler is in rehab.
The Bounty Hunter star is currently at the Betty Ford Center in California, where he is receiving treatment for substance abuse. According to TMZ.com, Gerard entered the facility three weeks ago after realizing he was becoming dependent on prescription drugs. His problems were allegedly triggered by the physical demands of shooting 300 in 2006 when he started taking painkillers to cope with numerous injuries he got while shooting the action film. The problem got worse when the 42-year-old actor was filming Of Men and Mavericks when he was badly hurt in December during a surfing accident.
Gerard is set to leave the facility today.
In December, the Scottish star was said to have cheated death by seconds during his surfing accident, which saw him trapped underwater after being hit by a series of waves. Gerard got caught in a 12ft swell while filming Of Men and Mavericks - which tells the true life story of late surfing icon Jay Moriarty - at the infamous big-wave Northern Californian surfing spot Maverick's. After being pulled from the water onto a jet ski, he was taken to shore and driven to Stanford Medical Center where he was kept under observation for one night.

Pete Doherty has stopped injecting drugs.
The former Libertines rocker - who has had a well documented battle with substance abuse - will not get high from needles any more out of respect for his mystery girlfriend as he doesn't want her to dabble with drugs.
"I've stopped injecting. The only way I see myself in a serious relationship is if I am toning it down a bit. When you're banging up all day you can't really have someone in your life, especially if she's an English rose. I wouldn't let her touch anything. I just wouldn't," he said.
Pete - who famously dated supermodel Kate Moss from January 2005 and July 2007 - also says he's more calmer in his life since quitting London and moving to the French capital of Paris three years ago: "The media circus got a bit twisted when I was in London. It became a bit of a joke, really. In Paris, they're so serious I can take myself really seriously, too. I can get really morbid without people telling me to cheer up."

Lindsay Lohan Impresses Judge

Lindsay Lohan was praised by the judge during her court hearing on Wednesday.
The actress - who has been working at the Los Angeles County Morgue as part of her sentence for breaking her probation in relation to a 2007 DUI (driving under the influence) case - received a positive report from Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, who had been in touch with the morgue and probation department.
"I'm pleased to say she's done it all. Just keep doing what you're doing, you appear to be doing it well. The probation officer has written a favorable report, as has the volunteer center," Sautner told her.
Lindsay has certainly been adhering to the terms of her probation and completed the last month's carefully parsed-out requirements, which include the completion of 12 more days of community service at the morgue, four psychotherapy sessions and meeting with her probation officer. At the start of the hearing, Sautner announced Lindsay's next court date would be postponed one week - to February 22 - because the court is busy on February 17.

Bruno Mars' cocaine possession charge was dismissed by a judge on Wednesday.
The "Grenade" singer - who was arrested in Las Vegas in September 2010 after being caught with the substance in the toilets of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino - will have the case officially wiped from his criminal record after pleading guilty back in January 2011.
At the time, the judge presiding over the case ruled the 26-year-old star should pay a fine of $2,000, complete 200 hours of community service and undertake drug education classes. However, Bruno - who previously admitted he "did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before" the incident - has now exceeded the amount of required community service after logging more than 230 hours working for children's and health-related charities, TMZ.com reports.
Blair Berk, the singer's lawyer, appeared in court on his behalf to see the charge officially dismissed. After initially hearing the charges would be dismissed, the "Just The Way You Are" hitmaker - born Peter Hernandez - explained he was "appreciative" that he wouldn't be convicted for possession. "Bruno is very appreciative he is being given this opportunity as a first offender not to suffer any conviction and instead to have his charge dismissed. He is taking all of this quite seriously," Mr. Berk said at the time.

Rihanna Heads to Hawaii For Break

Rihanna is spending her holiday in Hawaii to reportedly escape her frustrations over Chris Brown.
The "We Found Love" hitmaker has fled the US mainland for a vacation after learning her ex-boyfriend - who was convicted of assaulting her in 2009 - has got a tattoo of his new partner Karrueche Tran's face. Chris is said to be so besotted with the Vietnamese model that he opted for an inking of her on his left arm, The Sun newspaper reports.
However, Rihanna seemed to be less than thrilled at the new body art, as she let rip on Twitter: "Cuz of u I'm on some real f**k a n***a s**t! "U wanna be my main squeeze n***a, don't ya? So what n***a, I'm not tryna hear that s**t! (sic)"
