Heartbeats by Lady Gaga added to Beats by Dr. Dre line

We’ve known for a while now that a Lady Gaga edition of the Beats by Dr. Dre headphone line was on the way (heck, the Beats Studio Edition appears in every single one of her music videos,) but we must admit, we didn’t know it would be it’s own standalone product! However, that is exactly what Monster Cable is giving us with the Heartbeats by Lady Gaga in-ear headphones. I’ve confirmed with Monster Cable that they aren’t just a rebranded version of the Beats by Dr. Dre Tour Edition, and they they have a sound and style all their own. Apparently, Lady Gaga helped with the design, and we can believe it, just by looking at the product. Other features include multiple eartips to suit all sizes of ear canal, a travel case, and a flat cable design that eliminates wire tangling.

The Heartbeats by Lady Gaga will hit stores in October, with prices ranging from $99 to $149.

Blinx LED Sound Responsive Headphones

There is no question that most headphones are made the same, but Blinx comes with blue LED lights.  These lights are sound responsive, and will blink along with the music. 

So even though no one but you is hearing the music, everyone else around you will see a somewhat impressive lightshow.  The Blinx work with any standard 3.5 headphones, and cost about $42.

Klipsch Image S4i earbuds with iPhone and iPod controls

It has been a while since we covered a Klipsch product, but the company just announced the new Image S4i, “an in-ear headset that combines the company’s acclaimed sound performance and amazing comfort value with a unique in-line microphone and remote.” 

It’s designed for iPhone and iPod users, and features Apple’s advanced three-button microphone and remote system that can handle voice and/or music controls.  By the way, the Image S4i works seamlessly with the iPhone 3GS, and the latest releases of iPods.  It is also compatible with the Apple VoiceOver feature on the 3rd gen iPod Shufle, so you can hear the name of the playlist, song, or artist. 

The Klipsch Image S4i is planned for release in August, at a price of $99.99.

A string of blue lights on each earbud keeps track to the beat of the music to impress your friends or irritate those at work. MoGo Talk Case With Built-in Headset

How clever of MoGo Talk to create this iPhone case with built-in Bluetooth headset that folds down to a 5mm thickness. Compatible with a 3G or 3GS, it has a small slit to include the MoGo headset. This makes for simplified changing of earbuds as well as recharging. The case has a talk time of about 4 hours before needing a charge and will be in limited distribution until moving on to Apple and AT&T shops. Look for a $99.00 price and an outing this July.

Acoustibuds Flexible Fins

You liked the Koss CC_01 earbuds but figured they were two pricey. Here is an inexpensive alternative. Acoustibuds are soft hypoallergenic silicone fittings that will fit an iPhone, iPod and most other MP3 player earphones. A CES award winner, the company claims the “flexible fins” provide enriched acoustics and better sound isolation. They also say neither extreme physical movement nor perspiration will interfere with the Acoustibuds’ ability to stay in and provide comfort. At a price of only $12.99 for 2 pairs (in 2 different sizes,) this is a heck of a deal, especially if you have sweaty ears.

Beats by Dr. Dre Tour earbuds unboxing gallery

So, by now you know we are big fans of the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, as we’ve talked about them quite extensively. The over-the-ear cans are just very good, and we also appreciate the look. Up next for the line, though, are the Beats Tour edition. The difference? While the Beats Studio headphones went over the ear, the Beats Tour headphones are actually earbuds, meant to go in your ear (obviously.) We’ve got a pair of the new Beats Tour headphones here, and we are putting them to the test. We’ll hit you with a review in a bit, but for now, we’ve snapped a bunch of photos to show them off.
