Black Sabbath Unsure About Making More Music

Black SabbathBlack Sabbath isn't convinced they should record another album.

The legendary rock group featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler released 13, their first album in 18 years earlier this year but they aren't committing to a follow-up.

"To me, it's been nicely rounded off now. If we did another album, it just wouldn't have the same vibe as far as I'm concerned. And with this one doing so well, the next one would have to be number one everywhere too or people would see it as a failure," Geezer said.

Ozzy, 65, insisted he wouldn't make promises about a new record because fans waited so long between 13 and 1995's Forbidden. "We'll see what happens. We made promises about another album 15 or 20 years ago and it took this long for it to come out. I don't think you'll see another one in 20 years, put it that way," he explained.

The group also revealed they thoroughly enjoyed working on 13 and would be content with calling it a day after that experience. "Making 13 was such a great, memorable experience, so if that's the final chapter, we'd have to be happy. We've not spoken about [another album]. I don't know if it would be the right thing to do. God knows what the expectations would be next time around... I'd probably have a heart attack worrying about it!" Tony added.
