Charlie Sheen, Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza

For the second year in a row, Charlie Sheen will join the ranks of Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza, which airs on GSN. Sheen’s first appearance as part of the act was a surprise to everyone but Sheen -- even the comedians were startled.

We’re pretty sure that he got a specific invite this year. The show will begin airing on GSN on April 11 at 8pm and 11pm EST, but you won’t see Charlie Sheen until the April 12 episode.

CBS Brings Game Show Antique to the Network

With soap opera relic Guiding Light going off the air, is looking at a daytime programming gap they haven’t had to worry about for six decades. You see, Guiding Light is so dusty is used to run on CBS radio. It’s been on CBS TV since 1952. That is a long-running show.

Time to hit the panic button now. So what’s CBS going to do to fill the gap left by this extremely old (and obviously highly successful) daytime drama? How about dredging up an almost equally-ancient game show and shoving it back onto the schedule?

And I’m pretty sure that’s how the pitch went when the network decided to breathe new life into Let’s Make a Deal, that “choose a door” delight once emceed by the irreplaceable Monty Hall. Will you ride away in a brand new car…or get stuck with a goat?

Divorce is in the Air

Posted by Wendy Michaels Categories: Comedy, Cable, Gossip, Rumors,

Wayne BradyWith the recent announcements of a number of celeb divorces, it seems no one can stay together in Hollywood anymore. Case in point—two guys who have seemingly gotten too big for their britches, Johnny Knoxville and Wayne Brady. The Jackass star and his wife of 12 years, Melanie Lynn Clapp, just split, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple has an 11-year-old daughter, whom Knoxville is seeking joint custody. Wayne Brady, formerly of Who’s Line is it Anyway? and his wife are also heading to divorce court. Soon-to-be-ex Mandie Brady filed for divorce, although no reason was stated publicly. She is trying to secure joint legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter, Maile. Add another divorce to the list—illusionist Criss Angel and his wife (who nobody seemed to know about, by the way) are in a messy legal battle—she’s suing him for divorce, saying that he had an affair with Cameron Diaz and stopped providing financial support. This one is definitely going to get interesting in the coming weeks, no doubt.
