With terms such as, "winning" and "tiger blood," Sheen has become a permanent part of pop culture, especially in regards to his influence on Twitter where he owns the Guiness record for fastest user to one million followers at 25 hours and 17 minutes. It had to be the tiger blood. So, this begs the question, who else "won" by imbibing the life liquid of tall striped felines? Below, you will find the answer as well as the backstory.

A montage of clips from Tuesday’s performance round as the Beatles music played in the background. Such was the intro of the Top 9 results show of . Would this results show be the one to feature the judges’ save? Ryan Seacrest promised “shocking” vote tallies at the top of the episode, which was jam-packed with a mishmash of performances (with a few results thrown in).

Idol Gives Back will air in two weeks. To aid in the effort, Idol judges are donating prizes and items to raise money. Just go to the official Web site for details or to give.

The Top 9 appeared on stage to sing a medley of Beatles tunes. Lee DeWyze kicked it off beautifully. As “Here, There and Everywhere” progressed and fans screamed, I couldn’t help but feel impressed. Other songs featured in the medley included “Fool on the Hill,” “All You Need is Love” and “She Loves You.” It was definitely the best group performance of the season.

Sir Paul McCartney didn’t have enough time to mentor the Top 9, but he did offer a pre-recorded video message for the contenders.

The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan ShowThe first invasion of America by the British created a nation. The second British invasion? That created four icons who will never fade from memory or music: . Though the Fab Four were Liverpool-born, their music has literally been played across the universe. One place it’s never been played is iTunes, but at last that’s all about to change.

Apple (the company behind the iMac) and Apple (the record label associated with The Beatles) have finally come to a deal. For a cool $400 million Apple (computers) purchased the rights to feature the tunes. The money will be split between the estates of the group members themselves, the Apple recording label, and (who owns the publishing rights to many Beatles tracks).
