VIDEO: Snooki’s Ball Dropped Anyway
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Late Night, Reality, Specials, Cable, MTV, Video,
Viewers might have been confused on New Year’s Eve, watching the festivities as recorded by MTV.
Snooki was present in Time Square, along with her fellow Jersey Shore cast members … but wasn’t she supposed to be in New Jersey? The reality star’s ball drop did go on the air as planned -- because it was recorded the night before.
Snooki’s ball was removed from Time Square after officials decided that only one ball would be dropping in New York’s famous block. Instead, the Snooks was dropped in her own hometown of Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
You can watch the entire video above.

Snooki’s Ball Moved to Jersey for Ball Drop
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Late Night, Reality, Specials, Cable, MTV, News,
There is only one New Year’s Eve ball that falls in Times Square -- and the city of New York is going to keep it that way.
The official ball drop will be officiated by Mayor Bloomberg and Dick Clark, a staple of the annual event.
MTV announced recently that Snooki, of Jersey Shore fame, would be dropping from a ball during their separate celebration, but the city wouldn’t have it.
Instead, Snooki has been moved, appropriately, to New Jersey. The ball arrived on scene early on Wednesday, with a large “Snooki” spelled out in lights affixed to it.
Who knows? Maybe New Jersey just started their own New Year’s Eve tradition.

Looks like Adam Lambert will be in ABC’s doghouse a little while longer.
The singer’s controversial number on the American Music Awards has already cost him a performance on GMA, now he’s lost two other gigs on that same network. Lambert’s previously scheduled appearance on the Dec. 17 broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live has just been dropped. A tentative booking on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is off as well.

Kathy Griffin’s Comedy: Out of Control?
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Late Night, Reality, Specials, Cable, Gossip, Video,
!Warning! The following clip contains offensive and explicit language:
What was a routine New Year’s Eve segment turned into much more when hecklers, a live mic and Kathy Griffin were thrown into the mix. Since the camera had cut away to go to commercial during Griffin’s comments, it’s highly likely the comedienne thought she was off the air.
Does that make her comments okay? Either way, Griffin lashed out at a bystander in the crowd. While her comments were likely meant to be amusing, it’s doubtful the CNN audience thought anything she said was funny. “Screw you!” The redhead screamed at an onlooker, not shown by the cameras, before she proceeded to make her vulgar comment (heard in entirety in the clip above).
