Thursday Ratings: A Nice Welcome for Laurence Fishburne

A string of repeats on ABC - and a debut from Laurence Fishburne - only made CBS’ job a little bit easier last night. The Eye network took wins in both the viewers and the demos yesterday.
8pm
- Survivor: Gabon (13.2 million, 4.1/11 in 18-49) rounded up 400,000 more.
- My Name is Earl (6.6 million, 2.7/8) picked up 500,000 Ugly Betty fans; Kath & Kim (5.3 million, 2.4/7) added 400,000.
- Ugly Betty* (1.5/4) turned in 5.4 million.
- Secret Millionaire (2.0/6) had 5.4 million feeling charitable.
- Smallville* (2.5 million, 0.9/3) was up slightly.

- Approximately 20.6 million welcomed Fishburne to CSI (5.7/14 in 18-49).
- The Office (8.8 million, 4.8/12) benefitted from a Grey‘s repeat; 30 Rock (7.5 million, 3.8/9) improved by 400,000.
- Grey’s Anatomy* (2.1/5) only pulled in 6.4 million.
- Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (1.2/3) tested 4.6 million.
- Supernatural* (2 million, 0.8/2) remained steady.
10pm
- Eleventh Hour (13.4 million, 3.8/10 in 18-49) had its best numbers to date.
- ER (8.9 million, 3.4/9) roped in another 600,000.
- Private Practice* (1.4/4) premiered to 4.5 million in its new time slot.
